So much depth! At first, I thought the end was a bit anticlimactic after all the effort and intrigue, but actually, especially after reading the afterword, I think I feel exactly how you're supposed to after playing this game. This is an amazing thing with layers and possibilities ad a really well thought out story that, like he says, you are able to piece together. Great game!! :D Well done! I would have loved to play the earlier versions! Could have used a map-like system once you found rooms, but maybe I'm just absent-minded. All in all though I do love this, and I love all the conclusions you're able to draw with carefully placed prodding. Massive sense of achievement comes along with this too. :) Well done Jonas!

... Why. Why would I open the door? This is clearly a horror game. It says in the tags. You never just answer the door at night in a horror game. *slaps self*

The actual appearance of the game is very nice. Great art work. As for the puzzles, as much as some were very easy, some were quite hard. Often this was only the case because of the way the game works. For example, sometimes when I beat the drum, it said it had been beaten, but it had not. And the combination of items should be able to be done by dragging the two together in the menu. I think most people will need the walk-through or a read of the comments for the turn handles though... Minor pet peeve, the opening has far to many errors in it. These things aside, a lovely game.

Haha! I was putting the letters into the computer like... no... just no. Despite the funky dance, still shit me up! Also WHAT HAPPENED TO BEING SAFE FOR NOW EY? That safety did not last nearly long enough for my liking. Certainly caught me off guard. :') Nice touch at the end. I had been wondering what that was for. Good little game here. Item combining might have been a nice touch, I for one was wondering why I couldn't tape the craft knife to my bat. :') I got 73% in the end. There must be some really good hiding places for those notes! :D Enjoyed this. Swore a few times.... :')

I'm just getting a white dot on a black screen. Miss this old game so much. Thought it had finally made it's way to Kongregate. From reading the other comments though, I guess not. :(

Loved both of the Gateway Games. :) I was on edge the whole time waiting for things to freak me out. Great story, great puzzles, wonderful music, unnerving in a fun way. :) Perfect. Always know you've done a good job when block people stir your emotions.

Loved this little sinister game. Only one real problem was that the words on the letters were all scrambled up at the top, and so pretty much illegible. Really enjoyed this anyway, hoping for a sequel! :)

OH FANTASTIC! - Lying questioned! I always love to fight that argument along the whole "No, Anne Frank is not in my attic..." line of things and I was so happy that it came up. I was like. Pssht, DONE! Overall, I absolutely love this game. I love everything about it. It's very clever and well made. I especially like how the Arbiter becomes adorable when he smiles :'D
