Really nice game. I really want to say just how much I love the instant matchmaking feature. I don't think I've ever seen such a seamless experience in a multiplayer game.
As for the game itself, I really like it. There's a lot of variety in the maps. One thing I might suggest is a few simpler maps whose features are easy to remember, so that matches are decided by interactions with the other racers and technical skill rather than so much reflexes.
Thanks so much, I'm glad you're enjoying it! I'm really happy with how the matchmaking feature is working so far. It automatically tries to pair you up with players of a similar skill level, and it prioritizes races that are about to start, so you can get right into the next race very quickly! We'll definitely be adding a lot more levels over the course of the game, and we'd like to have the first content pack out some time this month! I'll see if I can sneak in a very basic map (maybe one with no items?), sort of like a "Final Destination" level. :D [-fex]
Really good core game. I'm really impressed with how tight the controls are and tactile the obstacles feel. My suggestion is that you give players more of a feeling of progress. It seems like the missions are randomly generated and it'd be a lot more satisfying to work through them towards an end, possibly unlocking new, randomly generated missions afterwards. And more than that, and ending would be good. I made it 17.5k meters and it just keeps going on.
Also, as fun as the combos are, it'd be great if we could unlock new moves as we continue to play. Being able to do a double jump on a sheep or when you've lost the cape would be great, and even something like carrying or throwing sheep, or grabbing the lifters pole for a polevault move, with everything rewarding and escalating amount of coins so that it's not just looking cool.
Very addictive. Biggest problem with it is that 1. the weapons could be a bit more balanced. Shotguns are way better than their more expensive counterparts and 2. the money you get each eave is linear, but the cost of a new gun rises exponentially, which means too much grinding from level 1.
It'd be cool if there was some incentive to long runs, like if each door you smashed was worth more money than the last. As it is, once you've gone too far in survival, there are so few mobs you're better off skidding to a stop and launching again to earn cash faster.
The camera panned up and the game froze when I was at the first boss. I think it might have had something to do with me clicking really fast just before.
