Interesting game. I agree with mrsneeze about the learning curve. There should be more in-depth instructions and a few tutorial levels with only a step or two to show the player what they can do. At first, I didn't know that you could add more than two numbers at the same time.
Good graphics, good story, very poor gameplay. My biggest problem was with navigation; the arrows are in weird places on the screen, making it difficult to get to another part of the house quickly without accidentally zooming in on, say, the desk. Another problem is the annoying white screens that tell you where you are (I know what a basement is!) and waste even more time if you misclick. I also thought some of the combination that werent allowed were obvious. Why cant you tie the magnet to the sheets and lower it that way? What about tying the hammer to the rod to get the attic door open (what about *jumping*)? The text was also annoying, since it took up a fairly large portion of the screen, often covering up important places I need to click. Why does it even need to be there? I know I tied the sheets together, because I *just did it* (it also kept jumping from first to second person and back).
Could have been a great horror escape game, but it's simply too frustrating. 3/5
