I do not get how this game is running so poorly. I just want a stupid badge but the game is taking way too long to even run. This is a high end gaming PC I'm using. This should not be this horrible.
Mineral parts don't seem to be accumulating properly. I should have over a thousand currently and I own a grand total of 9 despite getting over a 1000 from lucky coins, completing multiple explorations (the most recent should have given over 100 of them) and have a lab that is currently producing double digits of them.
It kinda sucks that so much of the game seems to be flat out luck. Normally I like these games but there seem to be times at higher levels where the game is flatout unwinnable because I need a really specific tile to that never shows up and I don't have the tools to make it.
Despite what everyone says about the axeman, I did rogue with all level ups going into speed and only increased by attack from weapon upgrades and did just fine. I got enough rage to use any ability I wanted, and when grinding for the next boss, I could just click train and walk away and I would kill the enemies before I could take damage thanks to how many hits I got before they did. The final boss was a bit of a struggle, but the grinding was easy and I used that to max out everything in town, then the final boss was a piece of cake. Judging from the guide, the mirrors at the end should be hard (I checked after completion) but they honestly were a piece of cake with this build.
Can we get some kind of requirement that games used for the badge of the day have colorblind assist implemented when color is important? I shouldn't have to "cheat" with a walkthrough just because I cannot physically tell the colors apart.
It really would be nice to have some actual colorblind settings. This game was way more of a headache than it needed to be. Not to mention that when things start overlapping, even if I could tell the difference, there's no way to actually do things.
I do not understand what the hell is supposed to be happening here. I do exactly what I am told to do any my units die much faster than the enemy regardless of what I do. Terrible.
The major reason I see for the lag is that rather than making stronger enemies, the game still uses a large amount of the weak enemies like the bunnies and weak birds late game that die easily and just get in the way. They thought that if there is a horde we would die from the large numbers. The only reason why this is true is that the horde causes massive lag (even for my custom built gaming PC) which in turn results in you dying.
Holy crap this is one of the worst games I've played. The things that throw crap are way to strong (dealing like 10 damage out of the 50 allowed to get a star) and even with penetration are nearly impossible to hit because the crowds in front of them are way too big. Whoever thought about giving this game badges messed up, and I sincerely hope this never has a BotD.
This is one of the most painful tutorials ever. Don't make me click through 30 boxes telling me what I can do without actually letting me do that. Every tutorial should be skippable, and they should let you do the things it is telling you when the box is there, that way if I can't figure out how something works, I can easily reread it without having to go back a multiple boxes.
Somehow I'm getting killed by zombies that are no where near me. I thought they were finally done picking broken and annoying games that are practically unplayable for the badge of the day. I guess that was just a happy dream I had.
Seriously, a badge of the day for a level pack that doesn't really have an help for new players because they expected you to have already played the previous games? Took an hour to get the badge, and I only got it because I found out I can move my base of the island that fit only 3 weapons and not enough stuff to power them (meaning I can't get off the island) to a larger island where I just sat for an hour with weapons until the survival mode (again, no explanation whatsoever) kicked in and killed me off. Thankfully during that hour I spent not even playing the game since I had better stuff to do, I managed to kill enough stuff.
I really hate the physics with the gravity switches. I got close to finishing a very frustrating level only to hit a switch which send me back into the previous room where I hit some spikes and broke the game. Now I respawn in the previous room and no amount of resetting will put me in the proper room. Now I need to start the whole damn thing over. Can you please put a proper floor so this kind of stuff doesn't happen?
Is it just me, or do the shotguns work much better at long ranges? It takes 2-3 hits to kill one on the hood for me, but when they are a speck on the screen I can easily kill 2 with a single blast.
Easiest way to complete it, double back on yourself just run back in forth in a small section until your past selves catch up, move a bit, repeat. Still way too hard for a medium badge though.
