themofro: That's the stalemate feature. 5 turns without any damage done or switchouts will allow for free range changes. Any damage or switchout will reset this timer. This is to prevent indefinite stalling or situations such as Ashi vs Ashi at far. Also note that when you eventually face better opponents, they will range-dnace better, and will pass sometime when you Get Far and end up ahead in energy =)
smartswimmer: So you're claiming quintuple-posting twice within a day's time, completely bragging about non-accomplishments through the majority of those posts, is fine and acceptable behavior? I was suggesting a goal that might be a little more comment-worthy; since he seems to be mostly concerned about bragging rights, he should at least be bragging about something that has a little weight behind it.
shelly: Only by making a new account. Which, where you're at, is not a bad idea; play random at first and don't pick starters yet. See #1 for more info -> http://kongregate.wikia.com/wiki/Kongai_FAQ
disco: Sorry, let me adopt your debating style instead then: "This game is mostly skill. This is FACT. You can't disprove it because I used the word FACT. I won't provide any actual arguments or examples beyond my own success in the game to show that it's mostly skill - I don't need to because it's a FACT!"
Evan: He's just a returning troll, I can't say I have much patience for his idiocy anymore. He's done the some nonsense before, and it's rather clear he's just trolling it up at this point.
kwo: I think he's referring to the fact he has, for example, 2 vamp items but no vamp chars. However, I'd also easily add Gem to your list, and probably F-Powder, Yellow Rock, Tiger's Claw, and Caltrops as well. Actually while I'm at it, Salve and Breastplate should likely be there too! |||| slayer: Unfortunately the best way to do things for you here is to make a new account and not pick starters at first. Play random, win 10 cards, then pick starters to match what you won.
GBros: Yep, clearly Castle Wars, which you also have favorited, is much more in depth! (Honestly I actually liked Castle Wars last time I tried it, but it is definitely MUCH more shallow than Kongai is.) Or perhaps Elements, which is like Kongai with more grinding and less depth?
Slypherion: Power Toss easily. Power Lash is more like Hig's Chi Blast - a threat that forces them to change ranges to close but never actually gets used. Problem being, Phoebe has nothing going for her at close :P
blood18: I actually think the importance of deck building is a little overrated, but: Step 1) Don't use Helene. Step 2) Go with a decent starter; there are several options. I'd probably suggest RumiScroll out of your set. Step 3) Pair up good items to whoever you decide to use - see #16 on the FAQ @ http://kongregate.wikia.com/wiki/Kongai_FAQ .
ugnis: "This game is kinda cool, but everybody always chooses paper. I fought 20 opponents and they all used paper! I keep using rock but they use paper it's so dumb. Make it so they can't use paper so often!"
Kongai League registration closes tomorrow. Skill Rank 25+ required. See http://www.kongregate.com/forums/18-kongai/topics/53844-kongai-league-season-2-kred-prizes for more info.
strawhats9: There is one about to start any day now, actually. Requires Skill Rank 25 minimum and you might still have time to sign up before it starts. Check the forums for the thread.
