This game gets a bad rap in the comment section for some reason. It's not that p2w, the best unit is a free unit, and I -haven't spent a cent- yet I finished every timed mission while they were at their hardest (you just need a few brain cells to rub together).
There are problems though: the UI is annoying and inefficient because it's designed for touchscreens, the premium unit packs (when they come round) are set up really greedily, and most annoying of all the meta is almost entirely revolved around Zeus and other Strike-All units. Once you hit 4k you probably wont see another player with less than 3 Zeus/SA units, and you won't break past the Zeus wall until you can make loooong t5 units (which will probably rely on Strike-All).
Game is 4 stars to me, p2w is barely there (Gonna buy some stuff when the paycheck comes in). Would be 5 stars if it weren't Zeus Assault because it's honestly incredibly irritating to see this godlike unit everywhere.
God I wish the tutorials in these kinds of games weren't so incredibly handholdy. It's like I'm playing a powerpoint. That being said, game is incredibly polished.
seeing all these friendly dev responses across the comments makes me want to give 5 stars and i haven't even loaded the game yet lmao. Keep it up, people love it when you do that
F2P units: gutted. Zeus/Fury/RPG/Oni nerfs across the board. Premium units: not touched (besides a slight buff to an admittedly bad premium 3 star), trident/myrmidon/crusher/hunter still incredibly strong

@alshields sorry but bad idea. Being able to micro ships would make turtle tactics waaaaaaaaaay too easy (get a turret or two, build up 50 ships, unstoppable attack at once). This game is all about economic management
