Fantastic game. Depending on your build it can be a bit of a puzzle/battle game, which I did with magic. Chain lightning needs a bit of setup at times for instance. Then the design of how the monsters setup changes, forcing another change of strategy. However, you do get some freedom in how you design your character, you can go more melee if you wish. The game ends all too quickly because you are having fun, it is a great base concept of ideas tied together. I do hope you expand on it in the future.
Until you remove the pay to play AKA energy bar, I will not be playing any of your games. The only acceptable way of charging in a FTP game is for "aesthetic" things you can buy.
It's really simple. If you have an ENERGY bar AKA pay to play, I will not play. Many others agree. If you want to make money the only acceptable way for a FTP to do that is to offer "aesthetic" things to buy.
The game is bugged. All the time my ninjas will just stand there and let the enemy kill them with grenades and rockets never moving or much worse my ninjas disappear and stop fighting all together. So, my army just disappears. IF I manage to survive long enough I'll see that my invisible useless ninja took 1 away from the enemy defense... The Ninja AI needs work so it'll stop stopping for no reason just to die and the ninjas need to stop disappearing. Then it'll be much better.
The game has a great idea, but it is seriously flawed. When you play and you totally shut down the enemy hero. By not letting him get any kills or any exp... he STILL ends up at least as powerful as you and usually more powerful. My hero stays alive the entire time farming without ever dying and he stays right with me and then passes me, even though I kill him and or make him retreat the whole match. That's not right. Clearly you aren't adding up his exp and he gets it at a set rate no matter what I do. So, really it comes down to pure math and not playing ability. That's not cool. None of this enemy gets stronger as the match goes on... no if you are shutting them down early you win. That simple, but that's not the case.
It's a great game. Thank you, but it's got a major bug. Progression is broken at the moment. The more I play the weaker I become. I start the game with 54hp as paladin. 90% of the monsters on floor 1 and 2 have 2-3 damage per hit. I died on floor 2. 5 matches ago I could average floor 5 to 9. The more I play the stronger the EARLY monsters get. That shouldn't be happening. Monsters on starter levels should NOT get tougher.
Rott the Abomination is utterly broken. 20/20 monsters with 35,000 hp and has a -100% crit, dodge, and combo debuff. My monsters is 34/28 and cannot beat him with ALL skills unlocked and in any combination with 12,900 hp myself. All other monsters you fight at this level are joke for my level, but the boss is ridiculous. Needs tweaking for sure. He NEVER misses you, you can't crit him, he has TONS TONS TONS more HPs than you. You die.
It's a GREAT game until act 3. Act 3 is utterly broken. Dunno if it's the shark I can't real in or what. But there is NO RED on my meter because I do everything right. My power meter and the fish power meter is in the gold and my line snaps. Over and over this happens. When the game mechanics do not work right, aka the game breaks it's own rules, you have a serious problem. At that point it's not a test of your skill anymore, so it may as well be "easy". To leave it auto breaking like that is just going to have people keep giving up on your game. You can remove that "quest" so people can see the rest of the game, you can remove that auto break, or you can fix the "fish" that does it. To compare this to let's a game where you can "die", it's like you are fighting and you die for no reason in the middle of a boss fight. NO one will enjoy that.
