I really don't see why people are complaining about Pro mode. That was probably one of the easiest medium badges I've ever gotten. The only picture that I had trouble with was the violin, and that was because it was hard to tell which way it wanted to be rotated.
I think my cat is working for the ka ki ku ke ko warriors. He tackled me right towards the end of that stage! @.@;
Great game! I love educational toys, and I'd been thinking recently that I ought to brush up on my hiragana (the class I was in never got to katakana). Thank you so much for sharing this! ^_^
This game BADLY needs an epilepsy warning. The progress bars on the upgrade screen flash rapidly enough to give me a headache, and are more than enough to cause some people seizures. Please, PLEASE reduce the oscillation time, or just make the upgrade bar match the colour of their corresponding square!
Other than that, this is a very cute game, and I like the little floating companions following the armadillo around as he flies.
In level one, I hit a group of balls and they all fell except for one. The one that was left seemed to be ghosted, as I could shoot through it without hitting it. It was gone by the next level.
Other than that, cool game. I like this sort of puzzle a lot. ^_^
I really liked the game, but ran into a bug soon after I bought the ship. A band of pirates tried to attack me, and I beat them, and then right afterwards, another appeared, and made ready to attack, but none of the usual battle options were there, it was as if I were still traveling. I couldn't click anything except the speed levels, which did nothing to fix this. In the end, I reloaded the page and lost all of my data, which is a shame, because I was enjoying the game play. ._.
You should be able to do that if they're low enough -- just need to release the Up Arrow and press Up again to grab the ladder. Or if that feels too tricky, you can switch the Jump key to something else in the Controls menu so you don't have to use the Up Arrow for both jumping and climbing.
In the first level, I discovered a chest near the spawn point, but found that I did not know how to open it and moved on. After learning the key command to open chests in the next level, I decided that I'd play ahead a bit and then go back to the beginning for that chest. When I backtracked, I was holding the knife. During the 'cut-scene' at the begging, my little character was brandishing the knife instead of a gun, promptly misused it and got himself killed. Now all of my shiny coins and weapons are scattered all over the ground and there's a skeleton with horns dancing over them while the game is stuck in this viewpoint and I cannot even reach the main menu. -.-
