I don't think the completion bars match the amount of time it takes to complete an action. For example, Melee and Constitution take 0s to complete. Melee gets done quickly yet Constitution takes 2s to complete.
What is the purpose of selecting a Character when you can learn all the skills? I think certain characters should be restricted from learning certain skills. Then the quests would be changed based on the character you select.
What this needs is the Stand-Alone Quest Slot like previous game. It has gone back to where Quests take up a Skill Slot. Also, will there be ways to buy more skill slots like previous version?
I guess the reason why the developers never update game to have save is cause they abandoned this one and created a sequel. Kinda sad they couldn't at least have updated this one with a checkpoint feature.
Why is it in some places the location description states one XP Mutliplier yet it states another at the location and on the little popup. For example, Green Sea description states you XP is x10 yet the popup and the stats on right panel state it is x3.
It seems that as you upgrade a skill, the amount of time needed to complete the task increases. There needs to be some mechanic in place where level affects how fast a skill is completed. Cause if Tier 1 of a skill is faster than tier 2 or 3 then something is wrong.
I think there that when you pick certain actions, it should affect other quests. For example when you discover the sleeping goblin camp you can choose to quietly kill them, attack biggest tent or sneak quietly past. When you get to the area that opens to a deeper part of the cave you have the option to jump down, create a rope ladder or make notches into the wall. If you sneaked past the goblin camp, I believe the option to make notches should not be there. Cause since the goblins are still alive, they would hear the noises you make. Of course this could lead to another quest where you must fight them.
There is one thing that I found with the game that makes quests unbalanced. Quests that have you pick different skills to complete them will offer different XP values. I could understand it if the skills you could pick from had different levels you needed. However, I noticed in the quest 'Be the Night' the XP Reward for Attack was lower than XP Reward for Strengh.
The quest requires either 37 Attack, 36 Ranged or 37 Strength. At Level 46 Attack, it offers 2,359,293,640 XP while the Level 52 Strength option offers 3,774,869,824 XP. After raising attack to 50 the XP Reward went up to 3,303,3011,096 XP. I can see the XP decreasing as you go beyond the level requirement for that quest but not increasing.
I like how you can upgrade skills on the skill page. Especially if you select a skill to complete a quest that isn't in the area. I would like to see it expanded to include Upgrades too. This way you can upgrade any skill once you have enough money to upgrade them without adding the skill to rotation.
For those that don't know where to Train Summoning, I have the solution. Here are the steps to get it unlocked:
1) Complete Quest that has you track goblins at Midcamp. This unlocks Gob'klak, which requires 40 attack/constitution and 45 defence.
2) Unlock "What's That Glowing" quest. Complete quest (quickest is getting 40 Fortune Telling).
3) Once you complete this quest, you unlock Summoner's Temple. To train Summoning, you must purchase skill for 2 million gold, same as Magic.
Good Luck.
I have an idea for an update. There are achievements to the game, however you don't know what these are until you unlocked said achievement.
I say instead of an achievements list that appears once you get one, have an achievements button. Maybe also have all the achievements you can get but with a hint at what is needed.
I have a suggestion for the game that would make moving to other areas more important.
I suggest that each area have a max skill you can raise it to. Once you get to that max skill in the area, you only get GP rewards for doing that skill while in that area. Here is how I would rank each areas max level to be at:
Esterford: Level 10
Esterwoods: 15
The South Teeth: 15
Midcamp: 20
With this setup example, each area would have a max value of the next areas highest required level.
That sounds good for when we do Kongregate achievements.
