One thing that would fix this game (all of the other comments pretty much nail down what "breaks" the game): make repairs resulting from player kills free. It's incredibly frustrating to try to do the quests, only to have someone fly in and destroy you in a few blasts. It's over the top frustrating to have to spend a sizable amount of uridium (a limited resource that takes time to gather) to repair your ship. Thumbs down to this and any game where $$$ >>> skill.
The controls could be better. Whenever I would build towers and then try to click another spawn to reinforce the spawn at which I built towers, it would send them the wrong way, often causing me to lose the spawn at which I had just built a tower. Interesting game though.
Severely unbalanced. The first 3 or 4 fights are super easy, and then all of a sudden, you get pwned by the next opponent. Very frustrating. Add in the lack of save, and its super frustrating. 1/5.
The balance for this game seems to be off A LOT. When picking a class, things are a lot easier for a warrior than a mage. Perhaps because for a warrior, damage is dealt according to your combat damage skill AND the weapon you wield. For a mage, only the magic damage skill is counted (I'm assuming). The enemies in the last dungeon were very very very easy, except for the elite skeleton warrior, which essentially required luck to beat (he had to miss his attacks). 3/5.
For anyone who got stuck, pay close attention to the background: the tower has the code for the lift, the wall has the sequence for the numbered doors.
My suggestion would be to increase the amount of money gained when you completely pwn a map. If you outright crush them, you get very little money, whereas when you toy with them and kill a few hundred of their units, you get more money. A win is a win, right?
