Hey, how about the people who made this game don't go through and downrate negative comments. That'd be cool. If you can't take criticism, don't publish.
The bike isn't a crotch rocket. A crotch rocket, or sports bike is a full-fairing motorcycle typically based off moto gp originated technology. The bike in this game looks similar to a Ducati Streetfighter or a Suzuki Gladius, which are unfairinged motorcycles commonly referred to as "standard" bikes.
I like that it is challenging. It isn't overwhelmingly difficult or tedious to the point of being boring. I find the difficulty a nice breath of fresh air amongst quality flash games. Challenging games are a bit of a retro thing, so it's nice to have that go hand in hand with the retro feel.
I'd love to see one of the kids that grew up on casual games play an old arcade cabinet game, like Moon Patrol. "lol, died in 2 seconds, controls are crap, failgame"
Not a bad game, certainly. Here's my problem: what does it all mean!? I don't want to sound ungrateful, but lately all these "atmospheric" games have been coming out, and not a single one of them has a true story or a point. The story here didn't make a lick of sense.
Please, if you're going to spend the time to make a good game like this, spend the time to write a story, and make something of the atmosphere you've worked so hard to create.
This actually has some potential, strangely enough. It's a strange combination of elements, that with some love might actually work. Most important is the controls. Arriz has the right idea. But as it stands, it's mostly total crap.
It is hard, but definitely not impossible. Computer does NOT team up on the player. You may have to lose a few levels a few times before you get the knack.
Yakuz:
I'm not sure what game you think this is copying. The original game in this format for the PC is entitled "Gorillas" and was released for MSDOS 5.0 in 1991. Technically every artillery game with wind since then has been a "Total copy" of THAT game.
Either someone worked really hard to make an exact copy of the engine in Tea Games series of TG Motocross games. (http://www.teagames.com/games/tgmotocross3a/play.php). Or they just simply stole the code somehow. Not sure which, but this is still uninspired.
Also: I approve of the lives limit. Makes the game harder, changes the pace, slows it down. People just aren't used to having to get better at flash games to succeed.
Brilliantly written and executed. The only thing better than the artwork is the gameplay. To say I'm amazed is an understatement.
No, wait. This stinks.
Perhaps if we're in an age where portraying women in a stereotypical or degrading fashion is sexist, then doing the same to men should be so as well. I think it's rather unfortunate that the protagonist is a bored internet diddler on a quest to have engage his sister in some "good times," who then gets rather bored when his love interest *gasp* wants to actually talk to him. This is a base depiction of humanity and certainly a sad set of stereotypes to use to portray a man.
Amazing depth for a flash game. Challenge is almost too easy on the first one, a little too hard on the second. I have to admit, it made me want to know more, because I enjoyed the game, so I went to the website and read up. very helpful information there. This is a great game. 5/5
It must be hard for the game developer. I'd imagine the vast majority of us aren't going to pay real money to unlock the game content, even if we enjoy it. Too many good games for free. So as the developer there are a lot of people who will never get to experience everything you spent your time on.
