Strategy: Pair an explosive weapon with a continuous firing weapon. Use the explosive weapon, then switch to the continuous fire weapon until the explosive weapon's cooldown finishes, then use it again. Rocket launcher is best explosive weapon by far.
Controls are TERRIBLE. Seriously frustrating. I love artistic games, but this KILLED it for me completely. The camera is not good either, which is kind of sad for a 2-D game. 2/5.
Needs hotkeys for buildings and ships menus. Graphics could be a little less plain, but concept is solid. Pathfinding could improve, needs a hotkey for secondary planets, also needs larger maps. Maybe an increase in game speed too.
Wow. This is pretty luck-based. There have been a number of times I've hit a bomb that spawns in front of me while I'm in mid-air jumping from the previous building. Awesome style, meh gameplay. 3/5
Style and idea are awesome. Upgrades are NOT better than lots of small structures. For example, two mining guys are better than one upgraded mining guy. THELs are pretty crappy, using a ridiculous amount of energy and costing an insane amount of minerals. Missiles are infintiely better. The math behind the game is unsound.
Yeah, I bought everything and shot the hedgehog. It got about 55,000ft max height and then I pressed left and got it going as fast as possible. I went and took a shower and he's still going. Now, it's at 40,000ft, about $2,500 and I haven't touched it.
Trial 5 wasn't too hard for me. Use everything that spawns REALLY fast (goblins, Taurus, bomb guys, engineers, etc), use Phoenix, lightning, the ice spell, the extra damage spell. Mass your stuff so you have like 60 units, then attack. Hopefully you can kill it before he gets past. 4/5 because micromanagement controls aren't good, new game plus is really boring after the second time, and because mana differences between characters sucks.
Decent art, but strategy for the game is questionable and weak. I baet the majority of the game by spamming wind riders and occasionally upgrading. 2/5
