Wow! Thanks everybody! Sorry about the performance issues, Zynathias, it's completely built in the old version of my game engine. I hope enough people can play it though...
You're allowed to post games on here that have Sega/Nintendo/whatever characters in them? I was pretty sure there was something about this when you upload it.
@Fiskerglade - There is a border option where it limits where the particles can go. Press Z.
I really gotta make a button UI and have some things on by default, I guess.
You're on your way to making great games.
I suggest making the ball wait, and start slowly.
Secondly, take a look at more advanced particle effects. I can already see you've made a basic explosion one, but if you play with particle effects it can look really interesting.
Also, about the keys... the reason there are so many keys is because there are so many functions. There are no redundant keys assigned, to my knowledge. I might make a button UI later though.
@c0rupt3d lol - There ARE gravitational pulls. Just don't fling your particles insanely fast and you'll see it. Better yet, get the bigger particles - it will be easier to observe gravity then. (keys 7 and 8)
How are the physics messed up? As far as I know, they are accurate to Newtonian physics. At least until you start using bouncing particles. Collisions are always the least stable part of a game.
