Was enjoying the art style and general feel of the game until the last boss. It really is completely down to luck, even when you've upgraded all your abilities and followers. You just have to get lucky and hope he'll not spawn too many enemies too often so you have an actual chance! Funnily enough for me, I won in the end because the game glitched out when the boss killed me in one hit :D Honestly though, good game let down by a crappy end fight :\
The red glow that mines give off is hardly visible! I can't imagine what it'd be like for people who are colourblind as well. Any chance in the next one or in an update to this one there could be an option to make this effect more visible?
Tips for those going for the Dead on Time badge:
- Max out your car's stats to give you a better chance
- Use the handbrake to move sideways quickly to hit awkwardly placed zombies and move out of the way of debris
- Make sure you ALWAYS go for the feasting zombies, they guarantee you a few extra seconds
- Try to keep splatter chains going for as long as possible: individual zombies are worth 2 seconds, all zombies including and after the 2nd in a chain are worth 3 seconds
-Avoid civillians at all costs! They deduct 10 seconds per hit!
- Try and keep at around 15 seconds or over when there's a good zombie count around. This leaves you 5 seconds to recover if you clip a civillian by accident or are running low on zombies
- Do NOT bother running over soldiers. They give you no time and merely break your windshield.
Good game up until the point where:
- Veradux is on Phalanx mode with barely any health yet decides to attack an enemy with full health
- The AI ignores the enemy on like one health and goes for another enemy who has full health
- The enemy seems to be getting critical hits every 2 moves
I enjoy the game but seriously, I would have rather had far more control over your AI partners because there are times when the AI just ignores all logic.
