This is probably going to screw me up and a few other people, but it has to be pointed out: The first two levels of Crystal Ball and Occult Endurance GAVE me Max Research, instead of substracting.
this was a former bug and should be fixed now. Please assume that Crystal Mind et al. will COST you max research and that it can get you in a bind if you overspend.
First and foremost: You lose all your equipment when you embark. Which is crappy because I forgot to unequip the purple glaive I got and now it is gone. Was not the best, but it was mine. So you probably want that fixed right quick.
This is as intended. I'll try to point it out more clearly in the next update.
When you embark you automatically get a new character (while they old character goes off to fight and die and hopefully get you some good loot in the process)
If I am right, quarries cost DOUBLE the Copper they should. Then again there have been a few times that buildings haven't been substracting the full amount when building x5 or more (Then again I could be mistaken). Check the numbers just in case.
Wonder if steam tokens will be used for upgrading the level cap or other attributes of the carts maybe? Just level 10 (Or 12 in a few cases) seems quite low.
Welp, best wave today. Oficial wave? 49. Total waves? 55. Kills? 138. Over 80 of those were with my hand to hand sargeant who was at around 140 or so rifle and brawl, got himself a medic perk in one of the crates and was close to 100 points in medic skill of all things. Had 20 guys on the field and a few of them were over level 6 with crate drops... Didn't help for shit when 3 tanks and 2 transports came in and decided to give me hell though (And yes, I had 2 rocket launchers and half my men with grenades. Didn't do much against the fast waves and mass transport unload with tank support).
I haven't really put too much thought into end game balancing yet as not all features are in place yet. If you have ideas I'm all ears though! :D 55 waves is real good though! EDIT: I have now added a pause button which should help you in the end-game. Also, taunting now counts as a bonus wave, so taunt as often as you can manage and you'll have loads of points to spend and a lot of xp on your guys.
Recomended: Greater rocket launcher range, probably with longer load/aim time and less aim against infantry. As it is the troop is almost a waste of points since tanks usually have so much support that getting close is suicide except for those with a LOT of experience.
How to Killify your enemies:
First game (And all those afterwards): Call for a sergeant and a medic. Make the sergeant kill people in melee and force the medic to stick besides him like the plague. Level the sergeant, make mincemeat of everyone. Give the guy a submachine gun and melee weapon as soon as possible, as well as grenades.
Get a signaler ASAP after you get the deadly duo up front. Call for supplies and slowed waves, as well as arty as needed. Use supplies to get loot AND (Very important) level your guys.
Get an engineer and start mounting defenses (Ignore, unless needed, mines). Get a TON of infantry and forget about rocket launchers. IGNORE flamethrowers (yours) and kill any guy with kerosene on their backs (enemies).
Garand is king. Bombs too. Make sure most of your guys have them.
Invest in 4 levels of supplies soon, then XP.
Murder people like a good nazi.
A total of the HP and Attack would be nice, mostly because even upgrading the bear (Right now I only have 3 units) I am not sure it is doing anything. Using only the mouses in the 1º level I made a time of roughly 4:30 to 5:00, but with them at level twenty I only cut to 4 o maybe 3:30... It doesnt look like upgrading does squat, and also the rings that add food or mana dont seem to work, I mean that the upgrades are NOTICEABLE as heck, but the rings dont serve for more than to ocupy space... I at least saw that the money ring DOES work, but asides that? The XP ring seem to work and havent tried the food or mana capacity or even the regeneration. The only thing that I can confirm that works well are the staffs, though I am not sure if the +something works well.
I like the game, but please give it a quick update when you can.
