Definitely need to run a profiler on this game... I'm guessing its something to do with your animations taking up way too much processor time.

The most important thing you can do in this game: Buy the missile launcher. Engineer, towers and factories are obvious but the missile launcher is an absolute game changer.

Originally a 5... but damn it gets repetitive fast... once you can beat one capitol, the rest of the game is extremely boring.
