It's a nice game, but I agree with sharpeaustin that this game is uneligable for the contest, seeing the fact that this game makes use of other people's music (copyrighted works).
It's not a mosquito sound, I meant it was to get rid of, just like a mosquito xD About the key, I know. But it was annoying to select the key everytime you want to enter a room.. so I choose for not having to select it first.
Inventory and combining items is really bad. It's really hard to find out what you have to do. Give the map at the beginning, I found it later on. Then I could finally move on. And the mystery...or ''story'' is the worst I've ever seen.
I've added a mute button, only there's one sound at the end that just won't go away! It's like a darn musquito! I have nog clue how to get rid of it! And you can only mute the game in the titlescreen, and not during the game. So choose at the beginning if you want sound. Sound isn't necessary for the game. I have no experience with sound in flash, so I still have to learn everything.
At last. I added the sound! Yay! Ok.. I know, it's not super. But hey, this is my first time experimenting with sound in flash. It's better than the silence, that's for sure! Please rate and comment, thanks! We appreciate it!
It's a nice game Bronko! Too bad it's super hard, those zombies kill you super fast! Maybe you should try to enhance the field of view of your flashlight. Maybe that makes it easier:P And the long story is waaaaay too long xD
@Arthanon: Well I've been working with flash 2 months now or so, and the thing was that each time you enter a room Flash checks certain variables and rearranges the objects accordingly. Flash resets each scene after coming back in. So I used variables to change the position of objects. That's why you experience what you do.
