Kinda felt Claustrophobic at first, then i actually moved around enough to have the camera start moving to the edge of the actual arena and was like 'Wow, thats like... 4 times the space!' Then I got hooked on the gameplay... Then I payed attention to the story. And I got depressed by the ending. Then i got intrigued by the 'secret mode' medals and was like 'LIKE OH EM GEE, GAIS!' and so I sat there not moving or attacking... and died, then i didnt attack and moved around and BOOM NEW MODE. I was like 'OH EM GEE GAIS!' AND I FRAGGING LOVE YOUR GAME
all of you saying this is a rip off, don't understand how Genres work. EVERY game you play now adays is a rip off of something else, whether its a true blue rip off, or if its a 'rip off' that adds new stuff to an old design. EVERYTHING is based off of something else...
the AI needs alot of work. I had all of my dudes targetted, even when i had less than any other team, until i was dead, and the rest of the teams were only missing maybe 1 guy a piece

okay, so i think i figured this much out:
Speed = Attack Speed. IE the time between attack 1 and attack 2. When i, at 8, was using a boulder, i was about to throw them in an almost machinegun like way.
Endurance =.... still don't know
Shield = .... duh, its a barrier between the enemy and your base, absorbing a small amount of damage
Power = Damage.
Guns need to be more incremental. a chintzy pistol isn't going to have the same damage as an assault rifle, and an assault rifle isn't going to be as strong as a full scale machine gun.
Now, I'll move on to something else.
The Game is not meant to be some massive 'lolHA! this is the story' game. You are meant to discover it as you explore the world in Looming, seeing the ruins and taking in the forboding land. Each ending brings some light to the world itself, even if it is only a metaphorical light. As the game progresses, you learn more about the storyline, which is comprised of many other storylines. In the end, by the time you finish the very final portal, you should have accumulated the entire storyline, as well as all of those it is comprised of. If not, well, you should go back to playing Box Head Zombies, its storyline is very simple to comprehend and easier to follow. 'Kill things, they are the bad guys' (b-_-)
In Otherwords, if you can't see things, try searching for something like, y'know a big dome, or searchlights, or floor tiles. Hell, the hidden signposts that lead to the portal are easy to do once you find the first one. After that, its only slightly time consuming. I'll start with the most daunting part of the game, the artifact finding. Now, everyone seems to think that these HIDDEN artifacts of lost civilizations and dying prophetic monsters should be easy to find. Which is entirely illogical. In such a stark environment, where little but the forsaken ruins and desolate environments capped and decorated with foreboding and thought-provoking half-kept architecture, little to nothing would be easily discoverable. In fact, this is considerably easier to do than if one were in such an environment. Plus, as Greg mentions in his notes: "The world in Looming is designed to lead the player to important locations; I did my best to add rough patches or faded paths that guide the eye towards places where items can be found. With the exception of the secret signposts at the corners of the world, every collectible object should be near a landmark and tied to a main path by these little scenery hints."
Y'know, after playing through the game, and finally being able to say that i personally love this game, i read over these comments, concerning different small things in the game, such as BURIED signposts or HIDDEN artifacts. I wonder to myself silently while i read these comments, though only a few things come to mind, and none of them are me agreeing with these whiney bitchy, idiotic views that things should be easy to find.
add a way to make a new character, or delete the 'main' and only, character, and I'd love this game. But until then, im not going to play this, even though i love the designs and whatot
Hend, we may say, at a time without immediate problems, zombie outbreaks and whatnot, that that is what we would do. But put into the situation in which the aforementioned problem does indeed occur, we would be faced with a decision affected not only by a problematically addled mind, adrenaline fueled mania, and miscellaneous mental disorders caused by the outbreak of an apocalyptic situation in which most of humanity is dead....... Basically, you may talk the talk, but in the situation its a 90% chance you won't walk the walk :) Good game, honestly.
i found a glitch. On Genu, if you die while im timestop, it KEEPS the boss, and you can kill him, and get the achievement, but you dont get affirmation for it........
i totally agree with Creature. This game would be so awesome with an Infinite [unending] mode, that progressively got worse with like... a randomized environment? or it randomly picked between different maps and whatnot. This game rocks though. I've already played it twice :3
