I think it's a good evolution in your platformer. Apparently, a couple tweaks and adding a human character (Bob!) makes it much cuter to the masses! *grin*
granted, I'm not a great platform player...but I can't get out of the first box! I'm sure my brain hasn't grasped something...I want to see more of it! *grin*
I'm not sure what impacts experience points, but I kept seeing it drop to zero - even if my shots were decent. pretty cool game! It would be awesome if you could move on to various circuits before having to score in the top 15 for the world cup (like local circuits against easier computer scores) so that you continue to feel accomplishment; but it was fun the way it is. :)
how do I get bak to the menu? (for example, after practicing). I ended up just re-loading, but I'm wondering if I could have done it a different way. :)
Cool for a first attempt, so my suggestion would be to have a one second delay before the next round starts so that the player can re-adjust (if I lose while chasing a ball, I still have my finger jammed down on that arrow button and I end up losing the next round before I can correct it.) :)
