Shouldn't the tournaments return more money than the cost to enter them? Or at least return the entry fee. It especially sucks when the special egg or prize is something I already have or don't need at all.

Research: It seems to suddenly stop at a certain level, but looks like you can do more. I don't know how many "research" planets I built to fill out the last line of ships but it's be nice if we could see the ships, and then have them "unlock" when research is high enough. Building: It definitely seems like friendly ships take a lot longer to generate than enemy ships. Also, the time differential between low level ships being built and high level ones doesn't seem very different. Planets: What's with conquered planets being at half power? Why can't my regeneration ships help regenerate a planet? Why don't you have a random map generation function? Why can't I change a planet's function without letting it get reconquered? AI: The enemy AI is pretty good, admittedly. But the friendly one sucks. Counter strike helps, but only one ship turns around when I have a cluster of them. And let's face it, given the difficulty of this game, you HAVE to cluster multiple ships.

I think the mechanics of this game are off, but I still find it kind of addicting. From what I can gather, each time you conquer a planet the difficulty increases. That INCLUDES planets you've already conquered. i.e. if you gain a planet and then lose it and then gain it back (the system seems to think you've conquered 2 planets.) So, basically don't lose planets once you've conquered them otherwise..the superships arrive sooner. Second, the difficulty doesn't increase if you deeply wound a planet, but don't conquered. So, another strategy might be, flying around weakening a bunch of planets and then conquering them in rapid succession. It's complicated by the fact that the planets regenerate. Still, it feels like there are bunch of improvements that can be made.
