The gold making machine costs way too much and takes way too long to finish. I made it on the council long before it was finished, and was just about convinced that only thing it was generating gold for was the scientists, out of my treasury...
It takes way too long to "parse" a level. My connection is not slow. I lost patience when this had not happened by the time I came back from the bathroom. 1/5.
How in the seven hells are you supposed to deal with gryphons?!?! I'm declaring the Turkey level impossible until I see video proof that it can be beaten.
If you click on a battle, the close button doesn't work, so you're stuck going into that battle. This is serious problem if you accidentally click on a battle that you're not ready for.
This game looks promising, but suffers from a few flaws, the biggest by far being the fact that even a character who took combat-based options at the beginning is unable to reliably hit the weakest enemy in the game without training a great deal. Another flaw is the fact that building materials can only be acquired (to my knowledge) by going into dungeons and (as per the first flaw) facing certain death. The character options are superior to the original, but the execution (particularly in the combat system) is inferior, and to me that's a deal-braker. 2/5.
This game is very buggy- I couldn't even finish the third tutorial without the game glitching up. Otherwise, decent controls and a fairly interesting concept. 2/5, will increase when/if bug issues are fixed.
"The Game" is one of the gayest concepts ever devised by man. If everyone participated in this abomination, no one would ever say anything other that "I lost the game." 1/5.
Interesting concept, but it gets boring quickly. There needs to be some kind of a goal beyond simply getting a high score in order to maintain the player's interest. 3/5.
Also, Too Much Hamburger doesn't combine well with wind! It renders you completely helpless.
There are two seemingly minor issues that quickly turned into annoyances for me.
1.)Attacking with a melee weapon is rather unresponsive. Press the attack button and the attack doesn't happen for a full second.
2.) This guy jumps like he's on the friggin' moon. It takes him forever and a day to land!
These two issues annoy me enough to lower this otherwise great game to a 4/5.
This game desperately needs improvement in the AI. I lost count of how many times the AI used Hardy Steed on a Solarian Fortress. As it stands, it is a pathetically easy 35 points and card.
This game has a few issues.
1.)There's not enough range with the kick. It looks like you're right next to the enemy, but you still miss when you kick.
2.) Achilles doesn't recover from making an attack fast enough. An enemy can swing his sword twice in the time it takes for Achilles to lower his leg after a kick.
3.) If enemies come from both sides of the screen at the same time, you're screwed.
