would have to agree with some other comments here, the game is good but with a bit of time spent polishing up certan aspects the game couldve been great
As examples the movement AI of your troops couldve been much much better, i mean whats the point in them wandering around to points of the map you have captured, a rally point for your hq wouldve been good there are lots of little things in the game that just spoil smooth gameplay for me sry so can only give 3.5/5
@hopcraft nice post about an easy mode (as long as is totaly seperate from normal so cant lvl up on easy then play normal) with the wall factory thing just triple time speed if wall is close to being rdy)
For those strugiling with lvl 20 there is no need to buy/sell everything all the time it is doable without that, key is the early waves plan out ur glue guns/ aa towers so no air units escape u those extra funds realy do help, the EMP tower will make tings on l8er lvls so much easier, also making sure u have completed the challanges for extra tower fire r8 and bonus starting cash will aid u
And just for those that havent realised yet u can use shield support station to toughen up ur base and g8s
@Dirksen05 @ moment there is still no way to be sure what side the air units will arrive from untill the fix promised from devs is sorted but they will allways enter the screen in line with 1 of ur towers or buildings
DaHammer lvl 18 i found best tactic was to leave the front area clear for AA towers and ground assult towers more towards first gate also use the wall factory to make the ground units take the long way round (make sure they are two walls deep to prevent drilling) then when air waves are over sell the lot and put up a s**t load of ur best towers :)
@necronomatron The key to the motherships is the flare ability of the lvl 3 shield generators they will intercept most of the incoming missles from ships, if laid in pairs so one protects the other and all around them (also abit of monney to repair while ur killin) lvl 3 walls or walls 2 deep cannot be drilled
I was one of those that had abit of a moan about the anti-air weakness but with a little experiance of em they are not as tough as they first seem, i found with the use of shield stations and tactical grouping most can be shot down (u may need to play a lvl a couple of times to get the balance and positioning right)
To Developer: After reading ur comments posted below the best ranked comments it seems ur not quite right about ur own game hehe :)
1: Some types of shielded flying units can damage ur base if ur base fires upon them
2: Flying units do not always appear from the oppisite side of the map to ur base :)
But i have given u 5/5 i realy like TD games and this is the best ive played
@Derkassierer Range is the key to the jammers so Irradiators/Missle Towers and cannons (if u can get em slowed) also make sure ur air strike is up b4 the wave starts with the jammers
Good follow up to Original but the balance between Air Units destructive force and ur ability to take em down needs to be looked at, as i feel the power of the air units means u can suffer way to much from a random spawn point that is near to a stun gun the one of the larger air unit can destroy all of ur towers even with 4-5 anti-air guns firing on it
Was enjoying playing the game but lvl 15 is bust 2 out of 5 waves drive out of the screen and do not return and u can only solve this once with the bomber run
? is there any errors in the saving of the game? Last time i played i bought new bows, next time i played i did not have the bows and i also did not have the shells that i spent either? (i failed the level attempt and quit the game)
Very nice game, looks great and plays nicely allthough an ajustment to the archers targeting might be nice as a number of times flying units have gone by allmost untouched as the archers were busy shooting @ ground based units instead of the flying ones they are supposed to kill, in all other games of this type i have played the air defence units focus all attention on flying units when they are in range (Demonrift TD is a good example of what i mean)
To developer - Gold and exp gains seem to be good (didnt play b4 changes) but i found that b4 i got the island where the king is i was unable to gain any souls all mobs i fought said monster was to weak to gain its soul (didn't spend time grinding just played it through) so u may need to look into the lvl restriction on gaining souls
the has a good look about it but lacks playability over time a few missions and its all the same, points for lvl completion that could be used for unlocking/upgrading ur towers/buildings/units wouldve given better gameplay overall imo
Game is ok, graphics are good, would've given it more than 3/5 but lacking in info for player about towers and how the upgrades effect the tower, but overall not to bad
