For some reason the game keeps on freezing for me. It plays for a while, but then just stops with updating the game/tick. Not sure where the issue lays. I am still somewhat early game, with 8x5 map. It's sad, because I like the game.
Nice game, but bit short. Also at some point, the game becomes quite laggy. Need to find a better way to create the squares, I think you are over doing a lot of calculations. Just do them once, and keep the values stored. That should fix the lag issues.
Why does this game need to allocate so much memory, that firefox keeps complaining about it? I find it strange. I read in previous comments that you're working on it, but still... All I am seeing is a huge image that's the map. Smaller images that's structures, places or layout. Even smaller images for the characters. Some scripts, doubt it be more than 40k in size. So what's up with the amount of memory that it needs?
This looks a lot like someone else's work, but he made it in HTML5/Javascript. Same stuff with bar progress, different program languages you could buy, different programmers you could buy, all look the same.
Pets HP needs to be reduced. The huge amount of HP on pets makes the Wizard overpowered. Healing 25% of pet's max HP at 8% chance when pet has 5.000 HP, that's 1250 HP. That amount is insane. Not even a class has that much HP. But I like the game so far.
Not really idle as you need to keep active to select and start matches. I also find the game rather slow. Further when you level up, opponents get much stronger. I got to level 2, and then was unable to defeat my opponents anymore.
I love the game, but there are quite some issues. After some time, when HP is quite high on your characters, it takes longer for them to be ready to go farming again. This is because their HP regen remains the same whether they are level 1 or level 100, but also because healers doesn't heal more when they are higher level.
As for items, it's a bit poor system. Just a select few items. No randomizing stats, or tiers, or different items drop from bosses. Then again, it's just early version of the game, so I can understand.
Yes, the healing mechanic was designed this way with items in mind that don't exist in the game yet (but will soon, probably tomorrow). Won't spoil too much but you'll see when it's updated :D Regarding item variety: This will be solved once I simply get more time to put content into the game. I will add new items every now and then, but there will also be big content updates (the first one will likely be sometime during the latter half of the next week) where a large amount of stuff will be added. Glad you like this game so far!
Instead of having 10 games, with each the same map, but different cars. How about 1 game with 10 different cars? It looks more professional, and it's more user- and bandwidth friendly. And it seems that this is the only car with other stats. Rest of the cars all was alike. Whether I was in a taxi or a super car.
2700% accuracy now. Really weird. I assumed it would be calculated by amount of shots that hit the enemy divided by total amount of shots, and multiply that by 100.
The game is still currently being developed and isn't a full representation of the final product. With that said, there are several bugs that need to be squashed, thank you for finding one involving accuracy being over 100%, in the next release I hope to have this bug fixed alone with new features, Check out www.64kstudios.webs.com or our facebook page for details on the next release
Another bug with the very last title 'unlock all other title'. I did unlock all other titles and yet I did not get the last title. All the heavy farming for nothing QQ.
[Part 2 / 2]
I would also like more variations of items, and items that you unlock when you get higher level and farm higher level content. The result will be that you noticeable becomes stronger as you level up.
Other thing, that could even be applied currently, is to give stuff back when you reset a weapon. I find it painful to reset a weapon or armor and lose everything I put in it. If 5 levels are the maximum, that would mean 5x3x1200 = 18.000 gold and I don't know, 75.000 gold to guarantee 100% success? That's really a pain.
Well, these are just some ideas.
[Part 1 / 2]
Finally got the last leaf. It's possible, but extremely hard and gotta be really patient, unlike any other leaf really. All of them require just high DPS (faster killing => faster wave; but also reduce incoming damage) except the doppelganger leaf.
Anyway I like the game a lot. I hope to see another version, with some improvements. Like some said already, the controls are awful. The drag&drop system doesn't work so well when those characters can stack on top of each other. I think it would've been easier to just click on 1 character, and another click on the location or enemy. And for the die-hard players, let them select the characters with 123, and the skills of that character with qwe or something.
Further I would love a longer story line (or just more chapters). Currently it's kinda short. So short that I am nowhere near completing some of the titles. I am near 100K gold spend, but I am nowhere near having a +5 item.
Defeated 18 doppelgangers today, and yet no luck with defeating it 7 times. Even when I try to wait, it's not making much of a difference. Guess it's enough to say that reducing it to SEVEN was not enough.
Still pretty much impossible to get the dobbelganger leaf, even after the update. Repeated the mission multiple times, with different builds. High attack speed on archer -> doesn't matter. 100% Crit on warrior -> doesn't matter. 100% Crit on archer -> doesn't matter. High DPS -> Easier to get him return by attacking, but managed only 5 times at the most. Low DPS -> Harder to get him return to normal by attacking.
There seems to be no trick to it, just hit until he loses certain amount of HP, then he changes back to normal. To be able to get him return SEVEN times, you need him to change to Valerie like 3 times, and all 3 times he needs to do massive healing. But when you let him use the massive heal skill, then he returns to normal form afterwards. So you lost that chance to get him to return by attacking.
Another issue with another leaf reward, regarding the doppelganger returning 10 times by attacking. It seems impossible to do it that many times, unless I am doing it wrong. But when I have a lot of DPS, it is easier to make him return to normal, but then he loses like 1/4 of his HP. So that means in his lifetime, I can do it about 4 times. And when I have very little DPS, I can barely get him to return back, and when I do, it usually took 1/6th of his HP.
I think there's a bug with collecting the last leaf of chapter 2. It says Slay 2 Ice Gaints during survival. I've killed 2, even 3. Multiple times (10+), and yet haven't gotten the leaf yet.
Just fixed it!
