Here's something that needs to be changed: the colors. I'm colorblind, and I can't for the life of me tell the difference between Magic, Perfect and Epic items. Try different hues that stand out between each other a little more. Also yes for a shin megami tensei-like monster fusion with skill inheritance. Maybe something for items that lets you transfer bonuses from one item to the other?
