The music is off and it's incredibly annoying. If you hit the note EXACTLY on the beat, it will count. If you miss it a FRACTION of a beat late, you will miss it. If you hit it a beat early, it will register. This leads you playing ahead of the music, so if you fall back to exactly the beat, you're likely to miss a note and lose. I'm good at rhythm games (on Guitar Hero 3 I have 55 perfects and another 10 theoretical perfects out of 70 songs), but this is just stupid.
Quickest way to "win"- GO right until you get the first coin. Then just walk left andyou'll fall under the map, you win when you walk off the map to the left.
Haha. First try, on the level with the 3 green bouncing balls that you have to avoid, all 3 of the balls were in a row bouncing at the same height and speed. They were INCREDIBLY easy to avoid. I hit x6 before I decided to go ahead and kill myself because I got bored. I got so lucky 0_0
@cloughsds
I had the same problem. You need to upgrade your castle to level 3 (the 250-250-250 upgrade) to upgrade your barracks and allow golems. Took me a few runs until I figured that out as well =)
I'm confused as to how the red flower works. It seems that I use a red flower, and then the hills around me cost NOTHING to pass. Is that working as intended??? Regardless, it was an okay game. Just the first tutorial level, if you realize you can collect stuff and want to reach that pack of trees, in the bottomleft, you end up having to wait at least 2 minutes to finish the level. Don't make it possible to collect things (because players can figure it out) until collecting them is actually useful.
IMO, the biggest issue I see so far (stuck on level 4, go figure), is the inability to hug a wall. When you collide with a wall, you have it set to push you back TOO far. I'm not sure of the pixel values, but say your speed is 3 pixels/frame or something. You have it pushing you back like 6 or 7 when you collide with a wall. Fix that, and I MIGHT be able to beat it XD
I just got the achievements and left because I'm a little busy at the moment, but I felt like I should comment- GREAT game. I love the "Mario Kart Ghost" effect, with everyone that's played. It'd be nice if you showed some sort of ranking, though. Like instead of "You did better than 80 people!" be like "You did better than 80 out of 200 people!" or something. That may defeat the purpose of it, but I'd personally like it =P
If my computer could RUN this game correctly, it would be amazing =) I noticed that when I right clicked and changed quality from "Low" to "High" the game actually worked BETTER. The picture doesn't change at all on quality settings, and that's what's screwing my computer over. An in-game setting that tones down the graphics is REALLY needed.
FINALLY. Level 66. SO CLOSE. I have to beat it 7 more times (out of the 10). 22 energy per try. That's 154 more energy, or 2 and a half hours. If I win every time. Of course, my deck is just kinda thrown together and not amazingly thought out, and I haven't gotten many rares out of the 20 or so golds I've bought, so I'll be losing a lot more. I'll be lucky if I finish tonight QQ
Woowwww after playing this game I looked at the comments. Why so much hate? It's a simple game, but I enjoyed what I played of it and think it was very well-made. Sure, it's a giant ad, but ignoring that it's a decent (though maybe slightly boring) game. I like the chart that tracks your progress XD
Finished, woo. Two levels I was even able to get less shots in than required (1 shot on both a 3-req and a 2-req lol). Decent game, far less annoying than previous ones, different kinds of shots was EPIC lol
The biggest tips I can think of-
Popo pwns for pretty much anything.
Level 14 is an EPIC grinder, with 50,000-100,000 every 5 minutes or so. Just have Popo, Fire titan, sky dragon, orangutans, and click assault. You can afk the level on hard after you max everything.
Level 13 is a better long-term afk grinder. Just get orangutans and a few titans, click assault and pull back heroes. Leave for a while, and come back and finish if it's still not done. The black imps are worth a lot, so being attentive and spamming meteor blast when 2 show up also works.
Something people tend to be missing about the concept- YES, doing EVERYTHING you're told makes life lack colour. However, also note that when you do nothing but rebel against "the man" life becomes so "colourful" that you can't see what the heck you're doing. You can't tell what's dangerous (spikes/red) and what is safe to travel. A nice, educated balance will bring colour to your life without blinding you to the unavoidable dangers that come with it.
This game isn't that horrible guys 0_o
I've been playing it for half a day and am level 22, halfway through Oceana, the 4th of the 7 areas. For the 2k mobs achievement, though, it will take a while though. I've killed 400+ mobs on day 1 =D
I'm guessing since each area is 5-10 levels, the game ends at level 40-50? eeeeaaasssy lol.
