Not so much a bug, but maybe a timing flaw. Playing firemage, came down stairs and had 3 enemies in front of me, used fireball while I was in range, killed all enemies and leveled up, but still had HP removed. I had enough HP to live after hit. I would guess it would have to do with a procedure order issue. Enemy dmg->assign xp->lvl up/replenish HP->character dmg vs. Enemy dmg->Character dmg.->assign xp->lvl up/replenish HP
The overall game play is pretty good and I enjoy the game. That said, as many have mentioned the charge bar inhibits play time. I like a good CCG and want to play rounds to test new decks and such, even if there was little to no benefit. My suggestion would be to be able to pay gold to fight where the fights pay out a token amount of charge energy.
Thank you for your suggestion, ViperPete! Really appreciate it. Keep in mind, that as you level up not only does your maximum energy increase, but your energy regeneration also increases so you can play for longer and more often. As far as testing your deck out, you can always drop into the PvP section and participate in battles against AI-Controlled opponents at no Energy cost as well. :)
Garage door is key in the beginning, but I would suggest getting the second shooting weapon asap as you can switch weapons while the previous is being loaded. You have to keep the ninjas away to keep your money. Flyers drop bombs when killed. In most cases it is better to run out your current weapon until reload and then switch than to switch between appropriate weapons.
Fun Game, I really like how you can switch to a loaded weapon while the depleted one reloads. On the upgrade screen it would have been nice to be able to tell which upgrades are affordable without having to click/inspect each upgrade. Also, a separate mute/volume control for music and game sounds would be a bonus.
Since I use a cookie blocker and NoScript, I messed with my settings for a while trying to get this game to work in order to properly rate it. I never was able to get it to work without fully disabling my FF Ad-Ons, therefore 1/5 stars. Personally, I dislike the FB style games with a ton of tracking and data gathering stuff added on to the game, there is no good reason for the game to have to run so many scripts. You can keep it.
ohh, and I love the game and all but the 3 handed interface is a bummer, using the mouse you cannot turn around without walking and you cannot navigate the town/character/ect... menus with the d-pad of a keyboard.
The changes are a real improvement to the gameplay. More suggestions: I would like to see a somewhat slower reaction time from the creeps when the are not facing you and the potential to cause some sort of damage when you are out of ammo (knife) and/or cheaper ammo. More weapons: knife, pistol, rifle, flamethrower, heavy machinegun as examples or at least some sort of bullet passthrough so when encountering multiples you can hit more than one at a time. Also, it become tough when you level spawn and are getting attacked and cannot do anything about it while you wait for the zoom in. Really, it is a rare fight that does not turn into a face to face. Instead of lowering mobs heath, how about an purchasable weapon damage upgrade. Some variation of mobs would be cool too (different sizes/different hitpoints)
Game has real potential, problems that need to be fixed: 1. Computer access is WAY too slow 2. you can't disengage from search or hacking in case of attack 3. you cannot click through walls in case of attack. I would also suggest that you be able to sell some of the junk or something, add a mini map (you could cloud of war it.)
Oh yeah, I meant to mention, use "Rage" as your primary attack, take the occasion misses and only use the normal attack for the kill strike, also I suggest keeping "Stamina" an even number for efficiency.
Overall Strategy: Health, Health, Health I can't stress it enough. Stick with the #3 shovel until you can get the #6 shovel (Save your money.) For first half of game, use Andy as much as possible when he has had 15+ drinks. If you have the health, after collecting all the items for an area, FIGHT!
