This guy seems to have a limitless supply of ice cream. Instead of taunting the kids with it and then shooting them... why not, like, set up shop and just sell it to them?
Not to difficult, and I can't see any way to make it harder without just making it bigger, but really nice concept that makes you think in a different way. I could actually see this being popular next to the daily sudoku in a newspaper.
Could you add a confirmation dialogue for sell building? I've accidentally sold a few while meaning to click the one just to the left. Or else, add an option to have a confirmation dialogue.
They're also available in the pause menu, if that makes it a tad easier for ya! I'll see what I can do about placing a button on the World Map. The only reason I haven't so far is because it would be a tad cluttered.
So far, I'm finding this a bit disappointing compared to the first one. The graphical style, the interface, and the gameplay all seem to be significantly below what you achieved in the original Cursed Treasure.
Oh, the other thing: add a red circle or something around buildings so you know exactly where the insta-death starts. At the moment it's a bit hard to tell.
Heroic Dash is pretty terrible in practice: you end up in the middle of a huge group of enemies you've had no time to kill. Which leads into the next, and most annoying, problem: ALL enemies (barring one or two buildings) are able to target, including behind them. While you and your allies are mostly just able to shoot straight ahead. That's ok, as far as it goes.... but this type of difficulty makes the game less fun. There's no possibility of 'clutch' skill. If you lose most of your squad in endless mode, it's basically impossible to build it up again. Even if you dodge for a bit, you can't make your allies dodge very well... and the enemies shooting backwards means that not even getting past them will give you a reprieve.
A knowledge of geography might have been helpful in making this game good. Sydney, for instance, is approximately on the exact opposite side of Australia to where you put it.
Excellent game. The only thing I'd like would be that the alien's access points through the walls would be more visible. Maybe highlight them once a trooper gets close enough, or something.
I'd like to see either or both of these: the ability to change weapons with the mouse wheel; automatic change to another weapon when the current one runs completely out of ammo.
With Shock and Awe, the main weapon pushes enemy ships out of the playing area. Where you can't shoot them. And some of the red ships refuse to come back in.
