Hi! this is a feature i implemented last night, since then the game doesn't allow you to buy the bit upgrades that would give you less production for the remaining bits (ie: you would be left with 235×2^20 bits, and that would mean you have less production even with the ×2 bonus than you had before. The button should be active when you have 1024×2^20 + 1 bits, but at this point it will only give you the same production level you've started with, so it is advised to collect some more bits before spending them :) Hope this helps a little :)
