(Pt 2 of 2) Another observation I made I would like to point out, The sphinx is a creature (in greek mythos) of bad luck and destruction- is it the fact that Kat dating Thomas was in fact not good for her, was it self destruction you were trying to convey?
And before I finish this comment, the ending was sad indeed. In the last level, the one i remebred immeditaly from Company of Myself even though it has been years since I played it, I don't know whether it was intentional or not- but before she dies, before she is killed (whether from the smoking or Jack)- she has to enable it. She lets him out of her sight (even though Jack said she can keep an eye on him and his doses) and enables the death via smoke ring into the switch, which then let Jack do as he pleased.
(Pt 1 of 2) I must say 2dArray, this is simply amazing. It isnt often, ever actually, that I comment on a video game- but you have defiantly outdid yourself this time. The art is nice, the story simple, yet complex enough for one to dwell deeper into not only their own lives, but we as humans and as a society- how we function each day, the norms we live by, even the people we know or hate. If anything is truly a work of art, it is this game.
Now, this is where I am a bit confused, since its been a long while since I played Company of Myself. In that game, it says she was killed and put in a box in the backyard correct? Is this more or less why she talks about her yard, somehow something back there leading to that incident- perhaps another miss-dosage?
