A very effective strategy is to maximize your energy pool and regeneration first. Then, after this has been accomplished, begin to increase the strengths of your weaker units (tier 3 and below) a few levels. I play very well with this game by having level ten lower units (who are cheaper) and spamming them at the enemy. More expensive tier 4 units are impressive, but slow moving, and only fill up a few movement slots. I would generally avoid using defensive towers, and long range weaponry (the "special" missles.") Good luck all, and thank you belugerin for making this game. Take care.
Funfun. Thanks for all your hard work.
Like playing war with LEGO toys, and making the rules up as you go. I enjoy the simplicity of this game and do not think it needs improvements so as to make this an "efficient tactical simulation", blah blah. Simple. Entertaining. Artistic. Thanks.
Thank you for all your efforts in making the game. I truly enjoyed it. As mentioned many times before, not being able to turn off the music is maddening. Turning it down is not enough. Thank you.
Loved the flamers + mortars.
Thank you for making this game.
Had some trouble picking up orbs when they were too close to heal, stim, air strike buttons. Caused some troubles.
Thank you!
Day 21. No mods, no carryover. Low level weapons with high walls, sandbags, and some NPC help. Two aides: sniper, and guardian. I am playing Noble and quick switching between SMG and machine gun as I go low on ammo. Grenades have helped. This game consumes me! Too difficult, hehe.
I enjoy the game, and the difficulty. However, it does feel like I need to keep hoping for an easy spawn level to pass on, rather than learn to play the game better.
I often find it impossible to continue past a level ten toon because their skills, and weapons cannot keep them going. That makes the game feel much too luck based, which I don't think you intended.
Thanks so much for your time and I look forward to seeing what changes you make later on.
Thank you for taking the time to make such a fun game. As said in previous posts, keyboard shortcuts would add a lot. "u" for upgrade, and numerical keys for towers, to start. Thanks again!
