Hm, Modding is awful. I reduced the cost of robots and increased efficency but can't get back to 110 like I had and now only have 58. I hate that you have to rebuy them; make a mistake and you're screwed.
Developers/Players: I've created a forum post so that we can start reporting bugs there. I'll try to keep it updated for the next couple of days, at least until the game is more stable. Figured this would be easier on the developers and those of us who want to play this game at its best!
New problem: playing on a different computer, so I had to start a new game. However *every* time I reload I lose all my progress. It's a neat idea, but there's no reason to invest my time in a game that won't save properly.
The increased save interval should fix this as well. We pushed out an update an hour ago. You could try and see if this still occurs in version 1.0.46.
Closed the game and then reopened it just to make sure it saved. Unfortunately, it took me back several minutes. Worse, I had bought the 4th automation in the farm, but it is now gone. However, instead of being 10k to get the 4th automation, it is now 15k (I'm almost 100% positive the 4th was only 10k). A bug that might be worth looking into. Is there a way to manually save the game?
Mixed feelings for sure. It's fun in some ways, the variety is great, and it's got a lot going for it overall. The amount of time things take to do are not too big of a deal, except for learning new recipes. Those are huge pain if you want to even try to progress.
Additionally, the "difficulty" curve can be frustrating. Especially in the Catacombs or Wizard's chosen. Often you are facing enemies far above your level and classes, and your best option is just to quit the round to save you some time. It's even more frustrating in the catacombs facing some low level enemies, only to be pitted up against 4 ogres 10 levels higher, or 9 enemies all 3 or 4 levels higher (similar to the boss level of campaign part 2).
I'm not sold on it yet, and feel like because the difficult is, for now, and will be for a long time, simply not having good enough stuff (rather than having a poor strategy), it may not be worth investing into.
Mixed feelings. It's good, and a pure rouge game. But it's incredibly unsatisfying most the time. I've gotten to level 11, and feel like I have a pretty good handle on the game. But even then, it was incredibly easy to get surrounded with no option out, even though enemies were 5 or six ticks away. But I think that's what the game is going for.
However, I think being able to use a tick to change which direction you are facing would be a welcomed addition. Too many times have I been nearly able to escape but cannot because since I cannot simply turn 90 degrees, I have to walk that direction. I think making a way to change which direction I'm facing would compromise the game, while giving it a bit more strategy.
Wow, I don't know what to say... hot games for girls? I'm a guy, but I think it's safe to say few girls would want to play this game... let alone anyone else. I'll try to critique kindly. Though I don't like the the art style that much, it isn't a bad looking game. However, the game itself has not substance, none. Think of looking at a well decorated cake, then taking a bite only to find the inside is foam. It's long, tedious, and boring, with no real reward.
Okay, so I get to the boss and I can't hurt him with my axes, or at least I don't think I am hurting him. I think it has something to do with the rope and the chandelier, but my axes wont cut the rope! What do I have to do?
I'd like to see a redistribution of points, mostly because I don't want to spend another 3 hours on this game.
Also, it would be nice if you warned that oil rigs only work when killing enemies :/
Level three golf is hard, but if you can get the shell on to the oily platform (either by dumb luck or great skill) you can just knock it up from there. It takes a LOT of time (unless you are good or lucky).
FUN FACT! If you press down in quickly (not to fast but not to slow) fancy pants man will do the rock on sign. Try it!
