What Contingencyplan and the others don't realize is that the game isn't supposed to be "winnable" in the sense that you get some screen flashing "CONGRATZ!" at the end. It's to see how high of a score you can achieve, and it's quite possible to get over 14 000.
Doing what Contingency proposed would just downgrade this game to a generic typing test. I can get that in any elementary school, thanks. The reload aspect is what differentiates - and elevates - this game above the rest, and I think it's a rather cool and well thought-out design. I don't have a problem with the font, but if others do then I'm sure there's another out there that would be more visible. I would bring the bullet UI down centre, so one can better manage the shots while still keeping tabs on the letters. And maybe a third upgrade option (armour, perhaps?) would make the game that much better.
I wasn't bothered by the animations whatsoever, but if others are, a simple compromise would just be the ability to skip the animation on mouse click. I would also extend the time limit of the levels, and then increase the difficulties of the actual puzzles, since the latter is what people seem to be more concerned about rather than the former.
Lol, when was the last time you've played a free online game that didn't have a "linear" storyline? Shouldn't you be grateful that you even got one?
You tried to come off as some literary expert but you're really just a pretentious wannabe that knows nothing.
