I've found the best way for headshots is to use the chainsaw as your primary, and rifle as your secondary. I discovered a glitch (sorry if it's been found, which it probably has) where you hold down your fire for your chainsaw and press spacebar to change your weapon and keep holding your click and it will use your 1 shot you had for your rifle, and reload it. Now you switch weapons twice and you're on your hunting rifle with 99 ammo.
