For all complaining about the new nature of the game, think about how fun it was when you started out, how slow the progression was and how excited you were to beat the first boss and see the next boss, that's what the new system is aiming for, a stable and excitable progression, just because its different doesnt mean its bad. Mana was a necessary change over having healers that just rng heal your warriors for no reason because you have 4 bloodswords, the new update has made everything more streamlined and in my opinion enjoyable.
The game feels so much more crafted now after the update, no more instant deaths on your raiders with insane hp and healers decked to the nines, it feels much more satisfying to reach a high arena wave now and finally kill a ng++++ boss, super excited for more changes in the future. Pitforest, muskar, and whom ever else, good work.
Bug where the arena-master can be damaged upon switching to base and clicking on him quickly, this may cause a problem if click damage is scaled later on, heads up
Suggestion: if you've ever played WoW, there is tier gear, maybe implement very rare gear that gives a really amazing boost when you get 5 pieces and equip them all at once(Helm, Chest, Leggings, ect), maybe even a 2 piece boost that gives mediocre stats(?). But individual class gear that is a low drop rate and only from certain bosses, so a Helm for rangers drops off Garden of Eternity dragon and then the chest drops off the golden knight in the Throne Room and on.
Yeah loot will be redone soon-ish and among the redo there will be new item sets and tiered equipment like you suggest. I initially wanted to avoid this, but after thinking about it I think it's actually a really good thing for the game.
