Its rare to find a RTS with a believable storyline and a space one at that. The game is fantastic, but for want to make it that inch closer to perfect it would be great if we could choose our - Ship deployment - Create battle groups -Include terrain (stations, asteroid field, solar flares) to personalize each battle - And have the option to review past dialogue as you can miss parts.
Excellent game! Interesting original (rare these days) characters, superb storyline which you can't predict and therefore enjoy finding out what happens next, I can't stop playing it. Also I think the multiple endings were great! So don't just make one canon. Thank you!
My only concern really is that a game of this calibre deserves a better platform!
Overall this is a good game,it just needs a few things adjusted to make the gameplay better though. 1- fix the stunlock with the motars (reduce range) 2. When going through cinematics make the player able to click through each part of the dialogue (i like to understand the story line, but its painful with how long each part of the cinematic takes), and make the time between written dialogue and voices syncronised. 3. A simple AI control for when you are in strategic mode for Dem, ( and faster movement for Dem) 4. Fix the weapon changing problem, with the scroll wheel (maybe use numbers for weapon choices as well). 5. And having more diverse weapons, characters etc. would make the game more satisfing.
Good game through, convincing voices & Dialogue, pretty orginal & interesting storyline ( a tiny bit of Halo though), and addictive to play!
