I like this game a lot, but there's something that's been bothering me: the Bronze Helmet
Its description says that it's a cast bronze helmet embroidered with golden horns. My issues are few and simple. First off, casting metal into a shape makes it a very brittle object prone to shattering. It also makes it very heavy due to the amount of material needed to maintain any integrity. Essentially, this helmet is too heavy to increase attack like it claims, and would in fact slow the person wearing it down a lot. The second problem is saying that the horns are embroidered. Embroidery is a tailoring technique used with thread-on-cloth to produce an image on the fabric. It does not work for metal, especially not 3D objects on a very hard metallic object. A better word would be "adorn" or "adorned by", which simply means that the horns are on there and are cool looking.
This is all the problem I have. Good game.
I don't know if you are already working on this (you probably are), but I'm going to say it anyway in case it's new:
I would love to sell off excess gear and skill books. I mean, I have ten taunt books and expect more to drop, and I imagine there will come a point when I just end up with more of these than I could hope to equip. Anyway, selling, it's a thing I would like to do. Thank you if you actually read this, and thanks for the game if not.
There are times when everyone is at 10% health and the healers are needed most... Meanwhile, the healer with 5 healstreak skills is slowly ticking damage on the boss. WHY?!
I feel that you should be able to load your character from the first game so that you maintain gold, potions, armor, weaponry, levels, and other useful items.
Another thing that I've noticed is that sometimes Rogan will die for no real reason (i.e. he gets hit by an attack that does ten damage and he had thirty-six health), and the attacks could use a damage estimate, like something that says how much damage your attack did overall. Also, perhaps add a different movement option, such as w, a, s, and d. Still, as just about everyone keeps saying, this game is extremely fun.
Also, perhaps a more WoW style inventory with items that don't take up as much space so it will all fit onto one page, or something else to get rid of the scroll bar. It keeps messing me up because I try to scroll the inventory only to scroll the whole page.
It could use a gender selection option and slightly more character customization, but as of yet I haven't yet seen anything that would really cripple the game, although I hear that arcane mages have it easy.
I like the game, but the graphics are a bit... dull, texture-wise. The rocket launcher should be a primary weapon, though, and the quests are a bit annoying in the way of that you have to go off and find an NPC in a world rather large and at other times have to grind items like hearts. The only weapon you would need to buy ammo for is the RL, and even that ammo is dropped by brigands. I found the villages to have too massive of "baseplates" if you will, and and that there is only one (rather pointless) turret in the game, plus you can't place turrets. Also, animations for the monsters would be nice. I say all this hoping that the game will be made better by this comment. As I said at the start of this comment, I really like the game, but the content is a bit lacking. 3/5
"Sifting through a large crate, you find a stick! You add it to your weapons storage"
"After careful searching, you found 5 G sitting in the bottom of one of the containers! Nice!"
"A thief sneaks into your supplies and steals a stick! The thief gets away before you can confront the individual"
"A thief sneaks into your armor stash and steals a Cloth Armor! The thief gets away before you can do anything about it."
"A Buccaneer party approaches! What is your action?" The Buccaneer is just a guy on foot, and I think I see a stick on his side, while I have a vanguard overflowing with diamonds manned by three men armed with long swords and mithryl armor and the other two are people I picked up from the side of the road. Let's surrender!
So to answer Kycco's question of just how desperate we are, my answer is this:
"VERY"
Just ferry bronze from Ny Cire (lowest place on the map for bronze) and take it to Doxinark to get a lot of money quickly. I also suggest going from Krin to Root with coal and back with bronze, as in you stop by doxinark on your way there.
In infrastructure all you have to do is move your base out of the paths and into the area where creeper can never get. Then you can subdue the emitters and get an infrastructure set up.
Get -EON- to fix it already JorjEade unless you are-Eon-in which case fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
