Liked the style of the game and played it for months already. Had much fun first but reduced the rating recently. Reasons for that are: Lategame the costs scale so hard the grind starts to become unbearable. You grind and unlock so much just to get a challenge map which literally deactivates nearly everything you grinded for. Why? Just have this mode available early. Filled with microtransactions. Would still have been fine so far but: it happened several times already that the save button did not save correctly. You can't save anytime and sometimes progress is just lost. This just takes the fun out of this game on the long run.
The BotD is only given in Easy mode. If you played Hard mode to a higher level: Exit game to mainscreen, start easy run, select option to start from highest level of hard mode done, exit to mainscreen again, get the Badges.
Continue to finish Hard mode for more fun gameplay :)
Beware of mindlessly clicking at x20 times travel speed. You might end up like me surrendering to a traveling merchant on a horse who you decided to attack because the buttons didn't change to the fighting ones as fast as I were clicking. Took of with half of my full Diamond load... Also if you click too fast while reaching a town you might end up with only the "Go" button instead of enter or attack sending you to a endless travel. You have to reload the page then and travel again from last city.
For some reason it seems very hard for me to get this game started. Sometimes the loading bar just freezes at 90%, sometimes the loading bar won't even start. Sometimes i manage to load the game but it says I'am not logged into Kong and have to try to relog. After several trys i managed to play it once today. Tried with Firefox and Chrome, cleared cache etc. but still have login issues everytime.
Like seriously. There must be something wrong with the AI for teammates. Set on defense and they go for the Quick attack instead of the heal several rounds in a row...
For some reason i can't click anything in this game anymore. Even rightclicking on it doesn't do anything anymore. Someone else experiencing this issue or did my recent Firefox update mess something up? Sound is playing normally but no mouse clicks are registered.
Iam really hooked up on the Decipher Puzzle in episode 10.
Solved it by using up most of the hints and taking a guess.
What was the right way to solve it?
Was there a Keyword to solve it after?
Using google only left me with the solution but no other way than guessing it from hints.
For all those who are stuck somewhere (Like i posted once but it got voted down): The Save Options state an "Save & Return to Lobby" Option which Takes you back to the room with the shop and your minion storage ! Very usefull to safe your ass once stuck somewhere.
I will never forget this game... even though i loved the story i have to admit if someone asks me about the game my first answer will most likely be "Ah, you are talking of the game with the alcoholic squirrel!" And i have to admit i really tried to find a way to get the "evil" wizard and the potion maker together but i sadly didn't found one :)
For all those who complain that there would be no achievment screen ingame: Main Menu with Start/Settings/Level Editor there is a screen to the right and it's bottom line reads "View Achievements"
Dunny why but i played some hours yesterday, found some items and unlocked some classes and logging in today the classes are still unlocked but all items are gone.
The Hard Badge is impossible, i never get the favor from the merchant near my starting room for killing the other merchant, it always seems to get stuck at some point :(

Actually that's the best way to remember a game. For me it'll always be the game with Norman the Bug ;)
