I'm terrible at geography. I clicked on the country (or at least, where I expected the country to be) and hoped for the best. Fortunately, my tablet gives me good aim. Unfortunately, getting the right continent doesn't help when I'm on the exact wrong side of it.
Since there were so many languages available to me, I just had to replay it in one of them! I picked Hebrew. It was cool to see how much of it I could understand when nobody was speaking (I'm not fluent in Hebrew). Also interesting that הנשמה העבודה was written on one of Grandma's books, and the rest were very conspicuously in English. In case it wasn't obvious that I had to take that book...
"I'm not good at dodging bullets. I wonder if there's a difficulty lower than Normal...heavenly? Excellent!"
Thirty minutes and a single level later, I realized my mistake.
Are all of these insects/arachnids drinking mammal blood, or what? Why are there red splashes of blood everywhere when bugs' hemolymphatic fluid isn't red?
Level 11 was too frustrating. I couldn't tell quite where I was aiming and felt like I was shooting the insect at random. Level 20 similarly gave me trouble; while it was hard to lose, it was also hard to win. I couldn't tell where my little guy went until he arrived at his destination because my Flash player dropped too many frames. I won both of these levels completely at random. Please make a lower quality version for people on laptops. :S
What a lovely game. I liked the aesthetic--very cute! It was a nice touch that all the objects we had to find were already present in the original images, but it wasn't immediately obvious.
This was the easiest Hard Badge I've earned in a while. It was challenging, but not by any means hair-tearingly difficult. It made Survival Mode a huge disappointment; I'd spent so long upgrading my plane and playing through challenging level after challenging level that by the time I got to Survival, it was frustrating to have to go through the lower-leveled enemies again. The difficulty ramp looks good for a plane that starts out small and upgrades through the challenge, but not for a fully decked out plane that has just beat the final boss. Furthermore, it doesn't even get difficult enough; I spent three or four minutes fighting swarms of the exact same brown plane before I got bored of it and quit. It'd be nice to include it earlier in the game (maybe just require a certain number of stars?), but it definitely doesn't stand on its own as postgame content.
Wow, chilling. I really enjoyed it. The only complaint I might have about this game is that the entirety of it is so dark that I often couldn't see the difference between a wall and an object without putting my mouse over everything on the screen, which made it hard to tell what was going on sometimes. It'd kill the mood to brighten the whole game, but could you perhaps provide a flashlight object that can increase the contrast near the protagonist?
It's nice to see a real kid-friendly game here on Kongregate. It was pretty fun and imaginative. Levels drag on near the end, though, and all the Wild West levels felt the same to me. The script could use some editing, too; if I really want to see chatspeak, I'll text someone's mom, not play a game. All things considered, though, it's pretty fun. Thanks for making it!
Bug: When I leveled up and my attack was maxed out, I accidentally added one to my attack. Not only was I able to do this, but it caused game-breaking errors: I can't flip switches, and the game is zoomed in so far that I can't even see the map. This was fixed upon refresh, but I didn't get my level back.
At the beginning, it says Luke wants to "return hell back to it's glory", but "it's" is a contraction and means "it is". You want "its", the possessive.
Great game, by the way. Too short for my taste, but I can always play another game in the series if I want more adventures. Thanks for making it!
Could really benefit from the ability to assign hotkeys to all the traffic lights. I'd rather press 1-2-3 than click all over my screen while also watching a bunch of moving objects.
Please implement a sandbox mode, or a custom level creator! A mute button would also be appreciated. As amazing as the music is, we should be given the choice of whether or not to have this most intriguing and fulfilling musical game experience.
This was the easiest Hard badge I've ever received on this site. I'd appreciate a level pack that's more challenging, maybe with new mechanics? Once I grew used to the style of puzzle, there were very few solutions that were not immediately obvious (level 30 comes to mind as one that is particularly well-done).
