Nice game, but I think games like this, in which every match played, even if lost, gives some kind of reward in terms of gold/experience/power should have a penalty in case of defeat. There's no challenge elsewhere...
Good idea not so well developed. Mine counter isn't based on real mines so on puzzle levels you just have to place random flags to make an high score. On first puzzle level if you play correctly you just get 2 stars. Awful. -_-
This game is a masterpiece! 3.8 as rating is an insult, but of course this is not a game for masses.
Kong should change the way in which badge are assigned: maybe use them to promote games different from each other, instead to badge all these crappy, boring and repetitive multiplayers. They're all the same! What's the purpose in badging all of them? I want badges in game like this! :-(
Why does Anabel orgasmic noises when the monster grabs her? What is he doing with that red stuff that he pushes into her? I'm not sure he's eating her. Oh well... maybe he's eating... her...
A problem: the damage animation is much slower than the rest of the game, so after a while, during a long combat, it stays too far behind and lags. It's really annoying, so please try to fix it if you can.
I think the negative rating system is more about spam and bad messages, not just for difference of opinion. If you totally agree with a comment you rate it good; if you disagree you don't rate it; if it's spam or stupid/useless comment you rate it bad. I say this because if a comment gets negative rate it's completely covered as it would be spam. It's not nice for what is just a different opinion, don't you think? It's rude at least as much as your "don't listen to him".
Anyway I don't see why putting some interactivity in the dialogues should ruin this kind of storytelling. I didn't say a dialogic game is definitely bad: I just say that if a game is built on dialogues and you don't put interactivity in these, then you can only read passively for hours and... where's the game?
Lynzip, why don't you try to explain why you disagree with me instead? I think I clearly explained in a constructive way what I don't like of this game and why. I think it's such a bad custom on Kongregate the mass bad-rating of critical comments, for uselessly top-rating instead the tons which just say "what a wonderful game!". If a game is played a lot and it's well rated you know it's a good one: you don't need comments to testify it. A constructive critical comment, instead, can help to make a better one, because nothing is perfect in this world.
Not so bad as a game after all. There's a nice storyboard, but all these dialogues... It's so boring! The action part is just the 10%! That's not normal nor good for a game. Do you know the worst thing? There's no interaction at all with the dialogic parts! You can't choose what to say, you can't interact with the story! But this is what makes interesting a RPG with a lot of dialogic parts; otherwise is just like passively reading a book... or worse, because it's supposed I'm here to play and if I can't it gets boring. So this is not a book nor a a game, what the hell is that then? You should work on it if you'r planning a sequel.
And yes, of course I know that I could just deactivate it, but it's not the same thing. I know that there's a cheating mode completely legalized and I don't like it. Also, on one side I'd feel pretty stupid not using it if I should get stuck on a difficult level, on the other side I'd see using it like cheating... This thing just ruin the game experience imo.
Oh! Come on! You just need to buy the infinite ammo upgrade (and 99k isnt even so much) and then you're virtually unbeatable... This is so lame! Why on earth you should ruin a great game in this way? I've just begun but I already know that I've won the game. Now I'm too bored to play the next hundreds levels and finish the game just holding all the time my lmb with a tesla gun equipped... :(
Or meters counter is broken a little:)
