This game blows but I think the way U max out launch is 2 hold the right arrow key til the silf hops in on his own then switch 2 the up arrow right away & hold it till after the launch.

Go in; close Door; get Rope; turn left; Chop up Table with Axe
Get Herb & Planks; turn left; Get Keys from under Bed & Coat;
Get Tinderbox from 3rd Drawer; close & Latch Window; turn right
Open Chest with small Key; get Hammer & Nails; turn left; Nail Planks over window; turn left; open Trapdoor; get Spice & Meat; go back;
get Bottle; place Logs in Fireplace & light with Tinderbox; place shroom,
Herb & Spice in Kettle; put Potion in Bottle; pour Potion on Meat;
turn right; turn right again; hang Meat on hook; turn right;
lock Door with Large Key; push Bookcase in front of Door;
tie Urself with Chain; tie Urself with Rope; wait til Morning

The electronic lock in chap. 5 uses the number 1 once and the number 7 twice. It scrambles the order so U have 2 guess the right order in the first try, then U get 2 chances 2 guess the remaining digit, which is also scrambled every time. Took me a good 20 minutes, but it can B done.
There is nothing intuitive about the game interface. Facebook like button covers play so u have trouble starting. i got stuck over and over again. What do u do with colonists once u have them? Why just bounce around trading? Nothing compelling 2 interest long term.
