Good ambiance, great mechanics, enjoyable difficulty. Love how you could scout with your light like a disposable drone, and the ability to teleport your weapon/tool back into your hand after use has always been super cool.
Some of the dialogue have the wrong names, such as Kat appearing when Jake's talking in the cryo room and Trey appearing when Rockwell's defending himself.
This game is deeper than I anticipated. There's a good balance of fighting and exploring. Two things that would help when figuring out a perfect run (well, even for a normal playthrough): an in-game map, and save/reset points.
There seem to be a few hidden gold multipliers that reset when you refresh. There's one that increments gold (of all plants) when you click a sped up plant really quickly and another 'prestige' multiplier when you start a new day that seems to be based in your previous day's earnings (which is magnitudes higher than the former), allowing you to skyrocket your earnings in a session. Also, when you hit the cap of 999.97ar gold, you can't earn diamonds from rocks or gold anymore until you refresh.
First promotion you should go for is the multiplier per lap. Eventually that's how much more per colour, so you're getting MpLbonus^10, easily getting you back to where you were.
Dark Knight multipliers should count separately from upgrade and achievement multipliers instead of just adding up, the latter 2 become less and less significant as you get more dark knights.
I think it would be better if the 400 achievement gives +200% and 500 gives +300% instead of +100% and +400% respectively. It gives a better growth rate in line with 200 and 600 achievement and increases profits by a bit .
I can't be the only one who tried to fill in the darker squares leaving the lighter ones empty... I wish the color scheme made more sense, or at least if a supposedly empty square is colored it glows reddish or similar instead of being almost the same shade as an uncolored white square.
Ty for the review :D
