Well, one more down the drain. Sad, but if the game won't even load an error, so I can find what's wrong, then it WILL end up at the bottom of a very big heap.
After playing a little longer, I'm pretty much in the "That's it, game's dead to me" camp. This is no longer the fun game I used to play, it is now a monstrosity that's anything but fun to play. Sad, as it could have been so much better.
Well, my previous ... concerns were pretty much addressed, for which I tip my hat to the developer.
Which leaves me with a fairly minor thing: the settings for displaying how numbers show (name, scientific, engineering) do not save. Not sure if that is intentional or a "bug", but I've noticed it happening consequently.
Holyday Studios: please try on Google Chrome, firefox has some issues with the new technology :)
So, instead of this being THE solution for universal playability, it turns out it really isn't? Not really all that useful, then.
before, none from google chrome could play, now a 5% of computers that have GPUs that are blocked cannot play. That 5% of players is very important to us, especially some players that we were seeing a lot in the chat rooms and as soon as there is a newer version of unity we will update it to make it playable for them. But until then its a huge improvement already :)
Seems like the artifact thing is still happening. Or perhaps there is another pre-req to getting them, but it says I can buy 2 more, without any being visible.
Other than that, it's a damned fine game. :)
Same thing here. This feels less like an improvement, at the moment. I'm sure it will be better, but for now it actually is unplayable. Too bad, too. :(
Well, that's a mixed bag. On the one hand, off-line progress works again, on the other hand, this is the point I was at ... last week. :s
I think the former will outweigh the latter, eventually.
Well, as long as the scrollability of the upgrade lists isn't re-instated, this game is off my daily play schedule, and by the looks of it that might well be for good.
thanks for reporting it Whyllow ! we will fix it !
