Needs alot of work... the upgrades seem pretty weirdly scaled... it's far better to stick with one thing at a time then build evenly// the the numbers start awfully low. The 'next payout' and 'timer' thing are kinda redundant, just use one.
Also, you do get full, free miners when you refresh.
The Stats page is broken... I let the game run overnight and it didn't keep track of any of the stats... it says I've found 1-2K of each gem when have have 100K+ of each on hand.
This is because I only currently save data for game essential items. The save for stats, auto-sell / refine options, and auto-use special options will be in the next patch.
Very cool concept, but needs some tweaking. The collection gets really tiresome really fast... far too much random clicking. Someone posted that gets fixed with research, which is nice, but I suspect alot of people will get annoyed and leave before that happens.
I also agree with another commenter, which the distances and such are realistic-seeming, I think a more compact display would make more sense gameplay wise.
The cash per kill is still WAY too low. It needs to go up by a factor of at least 5, I'd say. I'm getting around 90% of my money from the cash package still.
Cool concept, but needs scaling work... the 'cash package' shouldn't be 80-90% of income, and that's with me trying hard to focus on the turret. It's also a bit slow, progress wise.. I think the upgrades need to be either more powerful or scale up slower.
@ Krabcat - Once you get into the Quadrillions of AI, you want to make sure you're idling with 800 of everything... that might take a day or two at 20 quad AI, but once you do, you'll be in pretty good shape. I went from 80 - 200 - 350 - 910 quadrillion over like 6 or 7 days.
@ Corcusant (and others) about AI upgrades: One you get going (over a Quadrillion AIs) the cost of all the AI upgrades is negligible.. I have about 300Q AIs right now, and I have 17 trillion new AIs coming in every 10 seconds... so spending 1.2 trillion (or whatever it is) is literally one second worth.
I'd say the multipiers are worth it much sooner (probably when you still are in the billions of AI) because they are so massively helpful.. I'd wait on the extra newspapers and such until later.
For people worried about the angel upgrades... once you can afford them, they're pretty much worthwhile. The bonuses they add pay for themselves in a very short period of time (like, minutes). I'm on the fence a bit on the ones that give newspapers or whatever.. they do save ALOT of money, but I'm not certain they're worth it until the amount of angel it cost becomes insignifigant (like, when you're in the quadrillions of angels)
I think the last update went too far back in the other direction... Oil is once again accounting for 80-85% of my money...it's pulling in 58undecillions every 8 seconds... the rest of my stuff combined pulls in between 11-12 undecillions.
Great Update... I was happily busy during the bugginess! For the upgrade screen, how about a grid (with each type all lined up) instead of a giant scroll list... it's getting kinda cumbersome.
Also is the lemonade stand money not contributing to angel investors intentional? Either way, on first blush I think this will fix many of the problems people were having.
Since someone asked... if you compare the cost of oil rig #501 to the increase in revenue you get, it takes about 12 hours (assuming you have 400 of everything, but not 500) to earn back what you spent. The cost goes up 7% each one, so #502 would take about 13 hours (12*1.07 to be exact). IF you're going to run the game longer than that before you reset, it's worth it :)
How about optional businesses? For example, you could choose Lemonade Stands, Soda Machines (higher cost growth and income), or Penny Candy (lower cost growth and income). It would be something you choose at the start... I'm not suggesting buying all every game. IT could add both some color and some strategy.. especially when you guys add some of the synergy bits you've mentioned!
Love the game, can't wait for the update. One minor thing... the money bags. Every time I log in, I have 3. As soon as I go to a menu (any one), then click back to my guy, I have 2. Seems like some sort of display bug.
Great game! Couple suggestions:
- One of the skills (Pace maybe, or vision) should make it so you get more oppertunities in a game.
- Transfer offers could be a bit more logical.. why would I want to go to a team in a lower division at less pay?
- I agree with whoever said assists should be worth something. I'd love to see league leaders (and my place in them) as well.
