The food cost is just shitty. It's hard enough to get a solid run, with solid cards/upgrades blah blah and then...20 health for running out of food. garbage honestly
agree with the "boring" post. played for an hour, cant die, everything is overpowered, just pointlessly click the same skills over and over. basic items, adding some gems doesnt make any diff to anything. just kinda blah
lots of dying here, which is fine. In the same thought as many of these comments i wish there was some carryover. 1 item. an option to roll some dice and start at lvl 5 on the 4th floor....something. the 1st 5 levels bore me and a few more and i'll move on.
Came back after FOUR years off. Played for one day, just messing around in godlands with a 6/8 wizard and entire game freezes and EVERYONE is locked out for 10 min. Come back...wiz in graveyard. seems nothing has changed. Another ragequit, see you in another 4 years. Maybe. Glad i didn't spend a dime and never will.
it would be great if the points from the hall of fame or the achievements unlocked something. like more powerful starting characters. That would make dying a whole bunch while trying to figure stuff out worth it.
oh and i found a bug? I bought bombs on lvl 15? i think? seemed WAY too good to be true for 3 gold each and huge spam damage...but they never showed up in my inventory. so ya...was too good to be true haha
still seemed...too easy? Unsure about all of the comments upset about balancing and such. i hit lvl 8 on my first run ever and completed leisurely with Ranger on my 4th or 5th run? its entirely possible i was lucky with dbl speed boots and ranger shrine. Lack of final boss guarding goblet was kind meh...but def enjoy a well made rougelike
Why call the ships different names such as "scout" and "heavy fighter" when their stats are exactly the same?? Just call them "boring regular ship, same as the last"
i've tried to like it with quite a few playthroughs, but the main premise is a fail. if you farm, its a HUGE pain in the ass. if you dont water by noon ONE day all your crops are dead? Best hint ever...DONT plant a single crop until fall. You'll get further. and you'll make more money selling crafted items than you ever will selling turnips
found a way to get stuck. If you surround your bed with items such as a calendar and anvil in the house you made WAY to small...the game will allow you to hop into bed diagonally. However when you wake up, you cannot move diagonally to get back out of bed and ur stuck. Luckily i had my hammer in my inventory and not in my chest so i could smash the walls of my house to get out. Without the hammer, i'm pretty sure my game would have been stuck forever
I am working on a way to fix this, but I'm curious how many runs did you play?
