Theme good but the speed/timing is totally whack. The one character hops around like a grasshopper on crack. Almost impossible to make well-timed jumps.
I'm terrible at doing things quickly AND with precise hops. There are a few places like that so I can't give it better than two stars. One or other, but both is just frustrating.
Sooooo... random death when choosing a chemical for the sign and if you haven't saved recently, all your progress is gone? The most this game can get is 2 stars at this point.
I've 'played' through this before successfully but it's totally bugged for me now. Slow and I can't get past the 'o' part. The O moves but the narrator never responds after that point.
Very very good game. Best of class, honestly. There are a few things that are ridiculous and could be fixed (the Buddah puzzle has ZERO clues, for example). Plus there are a few hunt the pixel items. But overall, well done!
I gave this a very poor rating for several reasons: the puzzles lacked a cohesive narrative theme... they were just there to be puzzles. Also, if your system is lagging any at all, the last section is impossible.
I like this as a start but didn't rate very highly. Several main reasons: no replayability (I know, not likely with this kind of game), very short, easy to miss objects and the puzzles were either obvious or obscure (or hard to find!). I DID like the atmosphere, the characterization and the plot, however short.
Slight bug on level 25. The '75 star' badge won't register if you've collected ALL the stars before this level and get the last three stars here. I went back and re-did level one and then it recognized that I had all 75.
Well put-together game an pretty humorous. The only reason I gave it 3 rather than 4 stars is it has no replay value. It's well worth playing once, though!
This is a decent little game! I only gave it three stars, though. There is little replay value, and navigating the system is more frustrating than rewarding. There are numerous misspellings sprinkled throughout the text (especially toward the end). The puzzles were a bit simplistic. I see a lot of potential here, though, I hope the author continues the storyline!
Two easy (and obvious in retrospect) suggestions:
1) have autocollect coins on the coins from cutting forests... they current just hang around
2) automatically give credit for daytime 'stars' if a higher level nighttime round has been cleared
It seems a bit over-wrought. Not that I downgraded it for that! One big problem is that it doesn't dynamically size itself to the screen. On my laptop, only about 80% of the game is visible at one time.
Your plants (and that of your rivals) need to stand out more because they are fairly easy to get lost in the mix if you have gotten 3 (or more!) plants.
