I made it up to 200 clicks and had written this off as something I could live without, then I came down to check the comments on a whim.
I made it to 500 and bought the first upgrade out of spite.
That said, you've got no upgrades. Just more to buy to afford more you can buy. You've got a concept and not much else. Good luck in the future.
The cryto seems broken. I had 19QQ invested, with a 25QQ gain, and after selling I had 191Q.
It's a real bummer, because that's my favorite part of the game and it's completely broken.
To anyone saying they should have ensured their game works on all browsers before uploading it- This game is still in beta for a reason. There's a solid chance they'll work that flaw out before final release. They're obviously trying to work out flaws they didn't intend or didn't notice as well as trying to improve the overall experience since the game is fully playable on at least one browser.
What do you think beta access if for if you feel like they should have a fully developed product before upload, building hype?
Hi WillTroll4Food, thank you for the kind comment! Indeed, during Beta the game is not final - we are looking to see how the players react and get as much feedback as possible to improve the game. We are currently working to fix the bugs and already implementing suggestions from the players to make the gaming experience better. Should you have any feedback/ ideas, we are happy to listen!
I just discovered that I can upgrade trade goods. It was only 1300 gold to upgrade my to level 2, doubling it's value from 144g to 288g.
Time to start building a family heirloom.
Game needs a tutorial badly. One at the start of the game, and probably one at each new research level. The randomized card pulling system really hurts, and I rarely get the ones I need to keep a level going and productive.
Otherwise it's got good potential, and I enjoyed it.
Something about this game reminds me of irreverent space based rpg tabletop game HOL, and i'm pretty ok with that. It's been a good deal of fun. The game picks up quickly and it's a fairly easy to learn interface and I'd like to see more of that. Vote for Pedro.
I also managed to buy three ninjas at the start, and though it only forced me to buy two weapons for the tutorial my game froze. When I reloaded the webpage it wanted me to re-buy both weapons, but I didn't have enough for it. I can't move forward in the tutorial until I do this.
Just keep moving. Don't be afraid to take a neutral zone, because the only way you're going to win is by gaining more nanos per second than your opponent. I found that by constantly moving your entire fleet you'll stay ahead of the game. This isn't a sit back and build, this is a zerg them before they zerg you.
I'd like to say thank you- for not making this an energy based game, for allowing me to fight to my heart's content, and lastly, thank you for not making this a game of one-upmanship via micro transaction.
You have got to be the most dedicated indie developer I have ever seen. Everyday when I log on and see I have 7 new messages, I know it's not from a friend, it's from you... and that you love us dearly.
Apparently the lvl 40 kingly shield in the gold shop is bugged. Anytime I equip it my character bugs out and becomes unplayable. On a related note, S> said shield!
