Once you start sustaining quad-dolorium, half the screen is just plating and capacitors. Needs another tier of capacitor and plating. Maybe 11x increase for 10x power, so you have to pay for the extra 9 spots it gives you for upgrading?
Upgraded from 3 stars to 5 stars simply because the dev actually responds, listens, and learns from user comments. Definitely going to keep sinking time in to this.
So I spent many hours last night playing and kind of got addicted. Now it updated and feels like a completely different game. Nothing I do is that lucrative anymore, I can't tell how much heat I'm making and absorbing because the per tick calculation keeps giving me random numbers, and there's no longer and feeling of danger if I can just suddenly get rid of all the fuel cells and let it cool off.
I fully acknowledge that this game was inspired by IndustrialCraft. I really hope the creators don't think that I've stolen it, and see it instead as an homage.
After playing for a few hours, the memory used by Flash is exactly 1028MB. I think there is a memory leak somewhere, since after refreshing it's only 115MB.
"Oh wow, these pots give me coins when I stab them with my sword! I wonder what these barrels do when I stab them!" -frequently the last words of medieval zombie hunters
When you go really high then manually fall back to the ground you can get negative heights until it touches down. I got to around -2700 before it hit ground and reset to 0. Floating point rounding error, perhaps?
You get additional 50 starting gold per level. Sorry it's not clear enough at the moment.
