Never in my life have I hated a gopher so much. That said, fun game for most of it. Like others are saying, it would be nice to have a reset button or something. It's frustrating to have the rating dependent on getting very lucky several times in a row.
Quite good. A little buggy, especially in the western-themed world, but the earlier levels are good. There are a few places in which this game is everything I've ever despised about platformers, but for the most part everything is well put together, and actually possible. Cute graphics and story, and I like how there's so much optional plot that doesn't take a gigantic sidequest to do.
This game desperately needs some "confirm delete" buttons, or a one-step undo feature. I cannot tell you how many times I've accidentally deleted something expensive and been unable to fix it. Otherwise, though, great game.
Extremely bare bones, no pun intended. Yes, you have towers and enemies, but the game moves frustratingly slowly. I'd recommend putting in a 2 or 3x speed option, just so players don't get bored while waiting for the divers to crawl across the screen. Also, a tutorial level, or even an instructions screen, would not go amiss here. I agree with what Triforcepower64 said about the upgrades, but rather than upgrading the skull captain, I'd prefer to be able to upgrade the different tower types, as even the strongest tower is fairly weak against stronger enemies, and the fire rate is kind of lacking. However, despite all this you've got a good start. Your graphics are good, and your music is pretty decent. Best of luck.
Very boring, doesn't offer a challenge even at higher levels. Half the time I don't even need to click anything to win. This isn't so much a game for girls as it is for elementary-aged children (who would love it! Fun art, interesting concept, just... not much for older players).
Okay, grinding *really* needs to be possible, especially in an upgrade based game. I understand wanting to make it challenging, but given that the gameplay is almost entirely luck, there is definitely such a thing as too challenging. Or impossible. (Especially if you upgrade wrong.)
Decent, but the shop should really include options for decreasing the number of obstacles or increasing the number of power ups. I bought everything and *still* couldn't hit the meteor. Otherwise, though, pretty good.
Excellent game! Color me impressed, especially considering you've done this by yourself. It almost felt too short, but I assume that's because they're will be later chapters. 5/5!
Excellent graphics, terrible music. Especially the bird noises, laughing madmen, and cash drawer noises. The rest of the sound was atmospheric enough, but then I was rather surprised that the final boss battle had not fight music, but calming windchime noises. Anyway, the gameplay was alright, if extremely linear, and the plot had the subtlety of a sledgehammer, but overall it was alright. I would have liked to see more of the "fears" aspect played into the actual plot, as with the demons fear of darkness and fear of insects, rather than just having them show up for no apparent reason.
Fun gameplay, well balanced upgrade system, but fairly sketchy plot (this thing has so many holes it makes swiss cheese look solid.) All the same, I enjoyed the game, especially the visuals. Well done.
The one thing I do like about this game is the visual style and flawless animation. It could use a few more visual cues to differentiate between enemies, but hey, they're ninjas. Good job on that part.
Why is this game so boring? Seriously, it was fun for about thirty seconds. Also, what's up with the combos? They seem fairly arbitrary. Also, boss fights: why does it claim that it will tell me what to do, and then not tell me what to do? It's a little annoying.
