Though I had mixed feelings about your previous game, I really like this one. Shame though that after many attempts I have only succeeded in finding the best and (probably) the worst ending. No walkthrough to satisfy my curiousity either :-(...
I'm happy you appreciated this second game, and I hope you will play the third (coming soon) and give your opinion.
A walkthrough… I never considered it, it could be a nice idea.
Cute little game. Respect for creating it in such a short time. Still I wonder where's the ending in which we forge ourselves some swords, go kick that *&%$ kings behind...
I agree with everything TFO says. The 4 in a row game however is fun and very idiomatic to be used in a game like this. The Majong game could be a bit more challenging. Can't wait to get back to Forgotten Hill.
After numberous failed attempts I checked the walkthrough for level 14. Each and every walkthrough shows a hole with a diamond near the canon in the lower right corner. In my game there's just one hole in the lower left corner, none in the right corner. Should there be?
Nice, original idea. Unfortunately, big lag in every movement prevents me from getting past level 3 (it did present a nice, extra challenge in level 2 though ;-)) Could use a toggle quality button...
Solving those puzzles started out as a self esteem boost and yet somehow I feel like an awfull person right now... Still have some nice, challenging levels to go before I get to find out the consequence of my decision. Why do I get the feeling it won't be pretty...?
I don't have a refresh monitor. I now have the same problem in "Boiled Remake": the blobs won't change within the first two tiles from the "source" pilar. Directly after leaving it that is, blobs that returned after walking into a wall in some other levels did change.
The "P" is a very good addition, but still the "pixelhunt" is a bit anoying and now actually got me stuck at "leapfrog" (I think) The blobs won't change before walking into the first enemy...
So the MORE white in my "Trust" standings the LEAST I trust that person? Keep your friends close... and your enemies closer.
Guess I'm doing it Inspector Columbo style: stalk the crook! Is it early 2019 yet?
What a surprise! Expecting to be done after solving the case, I got thrown back into my cartoon youth. I don't know Supernatural, but definitely got the Scooby Doo reference. I sort of expected the sentence "I would have got away with it without you meddling kids" (but close enough... ;-))
Even without Supernatural background, San and Deam still worked as pretty much any "medium"/"ghosthunter"/"paranormal investigator", even the "real" ones.
And did you just sneak in a little "spoiler" for the bigger storyline at the end? Loved it!
Okay, figured out the conversations (I needed to ask one question which seemed irrelevant as long as I didn't have the poster) That leaves me with the problem that I can't get the poster, even after doing everything necessary to be able to do so and trying a lot of other options...
The back pack disappears out as well (I use right mouseclick to open inventory) and sometimes I have to leave an area and come back before I can click on any persons or objects.
The game doesn't seem to be working properly on my chrome. For example, I can't get the poster, even when standing at the right height and getting rid of supervision...
After being stuck for a lot of time, I googled the (old) walkthrough. (only read it untill "part two", between beach and "revenge") According to the walkthrough, I should be able to get the poster. Also, in conversations I don't get certain options for subjects/questions mentioned in the walkthrough (with the librarian, Nicolas and mother)
I agree with Lockpick. These games are nice for relaxation. That's why I'm not a big fan of the amount of "wobbling" and "bouncing" in the later levels. Could do without it in the next episode or additional levels I do look forward too. Level 14 did provide a small challenge because of the single units btw. Nice touch.
And I was right (though not quite about the motive at first, shame on me)! Loved the game as usual.
All top detectives are invited in the same place by a mysterious organisation without further explanation. Indeed, "what could possibly go wrong?" :-p
It seems like I could still enter the secret room without one mandatory clue (the one right from the invitation). I'm pretty sure I figured it all out, but I guess that because of missing this clue, I can't select my prime suspect... I tried the two options I do have, but not much to my surprise, they were both wrong. Can I still get the clue after entering (and leaving) the secret room? I can't find the walkthrough.
Stopped playing half way the other day to find the game starting from the beginning when I came back today. Went to “menu” to pause the game for a minute halfway level 9 and since there wasn’t even a “continue” button, I had to start all over once again (Which I didn’t. I do have other stuff to do…) Possibility to save progress (or to pause the game at least) would make it a great game.
