Many thanks for the comments and critique ya'll! I am working to rework the rushed sections *cough*allofthem*cough*, but I thought I'd make a small edit to note that arrow keys can also be used in place of the WASD keys.
Not often you see a game with a new gameplay element that actually works. Very impressive work! Yes, it's a bit easy, but I would love to see this expanded into a larger game still.
I'm normally not one much for art games, but I found this one to be rather engaging, even if for just a minute or two. While I won't say it's revolutionary or anything like that, I was pleasantly surprised by the premise. I especially enjoyed how the music that had been tight and composed slowly becomes disjointed and confused the closer to death you get. It very clearly states that you are sacrificing yourself. Well done! :)
While not bad, it is a rather unpolished game. A few things that might make it a little bit nicer would be some way of fading in the apples rather than them instantly appearing. As noted before, having them a different color might be a good idea. As well, the game is prefaced with a message and a story. While that is a good thing, there doesn't seem to be a way to achieve that. The fairy never gets home, so it is a bit of a let down that it is something the player cannot get to! A good start, but some extra polish would really make the difference.
There are very few games I can experience a raw sense of joy from playing. This is one of those games. It is fun and engaging while the frustration level is very low. The music is wonderfully composed... No, it is not as technical or deep as other games, but it is not trying to be. This is a game that seems to know exactly what it wants to be and goes for it. A perfect execution of a sequel.
Wonderful game, if a bit silly at times. Despite that though it did a good job of compelling you through with tension and exploration. I can't wait for the next one!
